 | ★★★★ The beef kafta kebab is awesome. Great taste and always juicy - never dry. I sometimes do catering orders here and the owner is very nice. |

 | ★ I never gave this bad rating to any restaurant as I am giving to this. The owner cooks with bare hands and doesnt wash his hands first. The salad has water. The food does not taste that good. Also, the older guy is very rude. Do not take your non-muslim friends to this place. Else, he will embarass you with his rude attitude. Save yourself from Hygiene issues. |

 | ★★★ Food is strictly ok, the pita bread was hard (probably a day old or so). Falafels and Kafta kabobs are good, but nothing out of the world. Owner seems to be a nice man, always smiling and hospitable. |

 | ★★★★★ This place probably has the best kafta kababs that are juicy and not dry. The owners are very hospitable as well. |

 | ★ Okay food but grumpy owner whether its father or son (one in particular). I'm not going there again after their bad customer service of last time! |

 | ★★★★ Alrighty then. Generally, American friends of mine love the food here, and honestly one can see why. The atmosphere is much better than many other establishments around this area and the food is quite delicious. Depending on the time of day, there will probably be a long wait to get your food, I'd say it's worth it though.
I have heard rumors about supposedly unfresh vegetables, but I believe them to be untrue--day of the week will play a large factor in how fresh the vegetables are. The owner is a warm-hearted guy, decent enough to serve the Plano Masjid every Friday at what I think may be lower prices.
I'd say try it. |

 | NR I saw the owner buying loads of ground beef at Albertsons one night. Would'nt trust their meat as halaal. Used to eat there a lot as it was easily accessible in Plano. Food was average fare anyways. |

 | ★★★★ This place has been aroun for quit some time, and the owners cater to the post-jummah prayer crowd outside of Plano Masjid and Plano Musallah - they are definately halal. They have a great variety of shawarmas, platers, kabobs, etc. The shawarmas are pretty good, however they are not cooked in the traditional shawarma style (big slab of meat spinning around). The prices are decent, and thy are definately halal. The portions are average - by Texas standards. |

 | ★ I went to this restaraunt a few days ago and was very dissapointed. I ordered the chicken shwarma and the meat I got seemed to be old and re-heated. I dont think I will go back. |

 | ★★★★ The previous review by Sabyasachi is baseless and an accusation to the business of the owner. It is sad to see such reviews without having valid proof. I have just moved in the area and have visited the place several times. The owner serves sandwiches on Friday at the Masjid also. And after reading the review, I immediately called up the owner and reconfirmed that the meat he buys is from an authentic Zabiha (halal) meat shop. He can present proof to anyone who wishes to inquire. May Allah guide us all. Ameen. |

 | ★★★★★ The previous review by Sabyasachi should be withdrawn immediately because it disparages the owners and their family without due regard. Today I personally confirmed face-to-face with the owners that their meat is Halal and I also discussed the particulars about their suppliers. Yasen Kisar will be happy to supply documentation on the Halal authenticity of his products.
I eat there at least twice each week and recommend the place to all of my colleagues. The Chicken and Lamb Shawarmas are nicely flavored and perfectly cooked, but you must try the Kafta to really understand how great the food is! The owners and their family are extremely cordial and courteous making every meal a delight for me. |

 | ★★★★★ EXCELLENT and authentic middle eastern cuisine. Was very impressed with service and the food. Had the House Platter, which included Shish Tawouk, Shish Kafta, Shish Kebab, Tabouli, Hum ous, Rice and pita. Such a generous helping, most people would have difficulty in finishing. A Definate place to go and east if your visiting Dallas. |

 | ★★★★★ Excellent Middle Eastern food. The Kofta Kabob is the best I have tasted and it comes with a generous portion of rice, hummus, baba ghanouj and tabouleh. And if by some miracle you are still hungry after the generous portions they also have very tasty desserts: the baqlawa and harissa are terrific. |
