★★★★ Located on Thanon Pra Atit, Roti Mataba specializes in Gaeng Roti (curry w/ fried roti) and Matabak (stuffed roti). It is a small, somewhat dingy place, but offers delicious fare at an excellent value, and is often packed w/ a lunchtime crowd.
Try the Chicken Korma or Gang Massaman - and don't forget to save room for some desert - roti cooked with egg and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk.
You can walk off your lunch in the park across the street overlooking the Chao Phaya River. Ahhh... I could taste that light, flakey roti right now.
