This place was very cheap, and honestly I wouldn't have been bothered if I had to pay more for this kinda food. However, the last 2 times we came here the doors were locked. And no one answers at their phone number. I really hope they haven't closed down, but it seems like thats what happened. :( |

| NR After reading the excellent reviews on this establishment, I went to this restaurant last Saturday, but was disappointed to find it closed. There is a banner outside announcing 'Grand Opening' but no other info. Some men were doing repairs to the outside of the building & they said they had no information on the business. |

| ★★★★★ ALLAHU AKBAR ! This is what a Philly Cheesesteak is when I imagined eating one.
First of all, there are two types of cheesesteaks. One is a mini, that is the size of a subway footlong sandwich. Then they have the regular cheesesteak, which I wish I tried.
These sandwiches are sooo amazing. It was worth it coming from NYC to get this. It is sad that I overheard brother Rafiq tell someone he is closing the restaurant after 37yrs. It may not be a 5 star decor restaurant like those new places that are open nowadays, but you feel the love of a brother opening his own place and striving on his own.
May Allah grant him good in this restaurant and he stays open. Truly, an institution of Muslims in America.

| ★★★★★ bismillah. my pregnant sister says "the hoagies are the bomb," mashaAllah. she liked her turkey hoagie more than the mushroom cheesesteak, and she plans to try "the Muslim hoagie" on her next visit -- which will be soon, inshaAllah. i thought the mushroom cheesesteak was very good, but i would have liked it more with provolone than cheddar. alhamdolillah alaa kulli haal. my dad did not look to enthusiastic till he applied hot sauce to his cheesesteak -- then he ate the whole thing and was the first person to finish. we also tried a (beef)-"bacon" burger, and it was delicious, though i would have preferred it without the bacon. my sister wants me to wrap this out, but she permits to mention that "the service was very friendly." mashaAllah, la quwatta illa billah. alhamdolillahiladhee ataminna hadha. |

The neighborhood did not seem very nice, but the brother at the counter greeted me with Assalamo Alaikum. I paid 5.75 $ for one sub which is pretty good. All in all, a very positive experience! |
