Food was NOT GOOD!! and price was not good either, 2 Gulab Jamun = 4$ !!! service was just, not the best. All in all, there are other nicer indian restrants. |

I know this for sure because I went to his place this one time, but later someone at the Niagara Islamic Centre mentioned he wasnt halal, so I went down and asked for some recent receipts or a halal certificate. He wasnt able to produce a halal certificate. I asked for recent receipts showing where he bought the meat. The receipts were from a non-halal place, I personally called and verified. All this time the owner claimed the place was halal. I dont know if he got certified now, but I would still ask for recent receipts anyway 'coz of what happened.
If you want a decent halal place check out the one on Stanley Ave (forgot the name) or Taste of Bombay. The indian place maharajah or whatever near clifton hill isnt halal either although the claim so!
