Halal summary
The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status.
★★ I ate here a few years ago and was not at all impressed with the very poor service and the tiny portions of food that were not at all tasty. I also had some doubts about whether they were truly Halal. Needless to say I never returned.
NR When i walked by the resturant, the waiter said it's not halal, but when i called the guy who picked up said it's Halal. Please confirm before you eat here.
★ One person tells you it's halal, while the other one says it's not.
Cheapest dish is $24, and after finishing it you'll leave hungry.
I could make a better Humus at home, and their Babaghanouj tastes like canned food.
NOT recommended.
★★
I finally went to Al Bustan for dinner last week. Absolutely delicious!!!!! I was with another model friend. We started with the Jawaneh--chicken wings! Yum!! The Bastemah (sun dried beef) is chewy but spicy and fun! I finished off with the lamb chops--juicy and flavorful!
