I called before going and they said that they still serve halal food. Then I went to the restaurant and I spoke with the owner, who is a bengali Muslim, and he confirmed that it is halal as well.
They get their meat from a halal vendor in New York, Mannan.
The food was excellent and the staff was very nice. The price is a little higher than I expected but this is most likely due its location in downtown (it is just a few blocks from city hall).
I highly recommend this place to any Muslims who want to try halal wings. They also have other options like burgers, fries and such. |

| | NR I haven't been there yet (it is on my to-go list). But found it strange that when I reviewed this location (where ATOMIC WINGS website states this is "halal" location (but have beer & beverages on menu). Whereas another location in mid-town only lists water, soda, snapple and vitamin water. Being that this is a franchise and the location of the "halal" is in financial / court district - that could be why they serve the beer.

As a muslim I would avoid a restaurant that serves alcohol. zabihah.com responds: We put that warning there so people who feel the same way can avoid these places. Other Muslims tolerate the presence of alcohol so long as it is kept away from them. |

Place is clean.
Friendly, nice, and polite girl who greeted me on the door gave me a wonderful seat to view the game on big screen TV.
I had five wings with hot sauce and five with bbq. Pretty good and different.
Sure, I'll go back. The service and the food was above average. Gets an extra star from me for servers and counter people who spoke English real well (this was more than usual in restaurants). |

| | ★★★★★ School friends of Hunter College invited us at a birthday party in Atomic Wings 311 Broadway on Monday 25th April 2011. I normally dont attend parties because of non-availability of halal food. When I was told that the restaurant is halal now, I decided to attend the party.
There were around 25 college friends.The party was going well as we were enjoying hot wings and other specialties like chicken cassedia . Some friends were playing pool. We all were enjoying very much and were feeling at home. All of a sudden, there was a fight between us and the party wrapped up quickly, something in the restaurant was also broken. Almost everyone has gone out of the restaurant. The birthday girl Romana was also off mood and didn't feel like cutting the cake. The situation has gone so much out of control that someone was even ready to call cops. Then the owner of the restaurant intervened and spoke some nice words and cooled the situation so much down that the Birthday girl got ready to celebrate her birthday.
All friends who have gone out of the restaurant came back one by one and the sad situation converted into happy party.
All credit goes to the nice staff of atomic wings and its owner. Instead of charging more, birthday girl was given discount of 10%.
I would love to celebrate any party at this happy and extremely cooperative place.

The environment is very friendly and the service is great. In my opinion, it is the best halal restaurant, I have ever visited anywhere in the world which not only has best quality of delicious food but also great atmosphere with mix customers from all around the world.
