★★★  The buffet has all kinds of typical Indian food. Food was average. Please note this place has a bar and serves alcohol. Food is not that great that I would go out of my way to eat here.

★★★★  The food is good. It was overcrowded at lunch buffet today, so they asked me to sit at bar, and very soon the bar got occupied as well, so there were ppl waiting in the line. The service is remarkable, and food is worth-waiting. I think its one of the better south asian resturants in new york.

NR  I visited New York last week - my family ate there almost every day. Why because it was halal and they could eat naan and curry. Very nice food very clean and good service. I even arranged for a corporate event which was very successful. As far as halal authenticity is concerned, I have verbal assurance from the owner (a family friend) and the manager. The restaurant is NOT alcohol free as they have a small bar area and serve on the tables as well. Price wise the food is not cheap (even when I compare to U.K. prices) but then its a good restaurant in Manhattan.

★★★  I have only been here once. The service was great. Maybe that was because they could guess that I am a model! They even gave me a free appetizer--the chicken pakoras.

I was not impressed with the food. The chicken biryani had very little chicken! And the lamb was not tender--almost too hard! They finally brought me the goat masala--baby goat meat with veggies.

★★★  I've eaten here and the food is very heavy and oily. The buffet is so plentiful but everything is so loaded with fat that I can't move after eating here. This is okay if you're having dinner, but this is not a place to go for lunch during a workday. You won't be able to stay awake when you get back to work.
