 | NR This place is closed. I went to 182 Lexington and found a place called Yogi, which is a Kosher Indian vegetarian resturant. In addition, I called the number on this posting and received no answer. |

 | ★★ Went here for dinner with family. Ordered several appetizers and entrees. Chicken parmesan was excellent however the other dishes were disappointing. Service was slow despite being the only party in the restaurant. Nice to see a halal Italian option in the city; however I wouldn't return. |

 | ★★★★★ After hearing about this place from many of my friends, I decided to check it out. Even though my husband only eats desi food, I somehow managed to take him there. I have to say that I was impressed!! I absolutely loved the food, loved the decor, and I can't say enough about the service. Even my husband who is very hard to please actually enjoyed the food. I had the beef de chorizo, (steak), which I couldn't get enough of. My husband had the chilli chicken pasta and ravioli, and he loved it. Definitely will be going here again. |

 | ★★★ I was very excited about the idea of a halal italian restaurant in the city. It was a pleasant place, but honestly I thought the food was disappointing. The zuppa toscana left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day. The service was great though, and the tiramisu was excellent. |

 | ★★★★★ I think that this is a very good Italian restaurant in its own right; good food, low prices. The fact that it is halal is a mighty big plus, although it is not obvious. The meals are varied and interesting and pretty filling. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. As an Italian, I approve of the food and plan on going back. |

 | ★★★★ Very nice restaurant and interesting concept. I had the steak and it was cooked pretty well and had lots of flavor. Also tasted the olive fried chicken and that was great too. |

I decided to go and check this place out and I was not disappointed. Food is delicious and staff is friendly. I didn't try the Indian style, but the Italian food was good. |

 | ★★★★★ I usually don't write reviews, but I felt like I should tell people about how great this place is. Its my favorite place to go for a after work dinner , always has a decent crowd-young professionals. Never over crowded-just perfect. nice soft music-and really the best place to unwind. At least some things remain consistent in this world right now! |

 | NR I had dinner here this past weekend and I must say that overall, this place is great. The food was excellent; but I would recommend asking for additional spices to give it an extra kick. The staff was quite attentive and very nice. The atmosphere was lovely; perfect for an intimate dinner or a group gathering.
It is definitely not cheap fast food so the prices may skew a bit high. However, for authentic Halal/Italian food in the middle of Manhattan, it was still a bargain.
Will definitely go back again and recommend those who haven't tried it yet to do so soon. This is the first Halal Italian place in NYC; we must, must support it. If business owners see there is a potential market worth investing in with the Muslim community, who know what other kinds of restaurants would begin to cater to our needs? |

 | ★★★ I went to this restaurant with a party of 12 last night. We had reservations for a birthday dinner. The ambience was beautiful and Italian music was playing. I guess they wanted to make it feel like an authentic Italian restaurant, which it did.
The waitstaff was EXCELLENT. I could say it was some of the best service I have ever receieved. They were courteous, attentive and quick.
The food was very good. I would recommend that they just advertise it as a Halal Italian restaurant, as opposed to an Indian Italian restaurant. I asked for extra spice in my Italian Garden Burger and I just didn't taste it. The Fetticune Alfredo was delicious, and I normally don't eat Fetticune Alfredo!
It's just a shame they don't offer stuffed pastas, like ravioli or tortellini, or this review would have 5 stars!
It is a little pricey though, they charge $3 for a soda, and charge you again for a refill :( |

 | ★★★★★ Had dinner last night after reading about them on zabihah.com. Had chicken with pepper corn sauce and spicy creamy pasta with chicken and both were great. They also serve tiramisu - yes tiramisu with no alcohol. The ambience was pretty good - nice clean restaurant with candle lights. Some people may complain about the price but if you go to a non-halal italian restaurant in Manhattan with similar quality you'll be paying lot more. Oh they also gave a 15% discount since this is their 1st week - not sure how long the discount will last. |

Masha Allah the food was really fantastic and the service was awesome....The best part is they could make the food according to my taste (they asked when I gave the order weather do I need it in Indian touch and i told yeaaaaaah ;)....)
i really enjoyed the food....
