NR I am no scholar however, you may want to read the following article and decide for yourself if Maple Lodge is Halal or not. I think it is quite clear from this article that Maple Lodge is not Halal.

★★★★★ very good food..good envrionment and the best part is that they don't serve/sell alcohol..they used to do that in the past and then i was told that the management changed and no more alcohol..very good and decent dining environment and goood food

★★★★★ Great place for grilled chicken... They do have different flavors ranging from lemon and herb all the way to "hot if you dare" so choose wisely. Their peri peri sauce/marinate is world famous!! I'm a regular at this location and always get great service. Also they have STOPPED serving alcohol at this location.

★★★ Went to this restaurant for lunch. If you like hot food or barbeque chicken you will enjoy the food here. The only thing is that chicken is the only meat they serve here. Which ever dish you order you have to tell them what flavour you want, if your a risk taker go for the peri peri.
