★★★  food is "ok"...not great and not worth what we paid. two dishes + an appetizer + two drinks cost us $87!!! :o If you're ok with paying $100+ for a so so meal than go there. Or, you could opt to just get the appetizer and drinks. We really liked the seafood pastry appitizer and the watermelon drink. After consulting several waiters, we found out that only two dishes at the restaurant are halal: lamb shank dish and lamb with couscous. we got the lamb with couscous and it was a bit bland and too sweet, not that marinated. def not worth $30!! :) positives: it's really nice to eat meat inside of epcot and not have to leave to go to another halal place. the decor is phenomenal. def wow factor there. you have to be careful because they have an on-site belly dancer so, ask in advance if she'll be there or not to avoid her. we got lucky, as she had already left for the evening. they get crowded at night so you have to make a reservation before hand. the girls working there are all Moroccan and really nice. the artwork on the walls is amazing!! makes you feel like you're in morocco! :) if we go to epcot again and eat here, then we would just get the shrimp appetizer and watermelon drink for a light lunch but not eat dinner there. go for the atmosphere. :)

★★★  After some time explaining to guest services what "Halal" was, I spoke to the chef at the Marrakesh restaurant in Epcot, who assured me that the lamb was halal. Trouble is, there aren't that many lamb dishes -- the choice comes down to a joint of lamb on couscous or a choice of lamb on rice. This tasted nice enough, but I felt pretty ill afterwards (could have just been the heat). Still, it's worthwhile considering if you happen to be visiting Epcot. Bill for two adults, two children, with only two desserts, was around $150
