★★★★  This place is a family favorite. Fresh ingredients, honest and friendly owners, authentic flavors. We especially enjoy the Burmese specialties. The only setbacks are the location and the less than comfortable seating. Not enough setbacks to keep us from going at least once every couple of months, though.

★★★★  They Use DART foam foodservice products. DART uses Animal Tallow and are not Halal. See link below. Be careful about that.

★★★★★  Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters,

Wow! The food was exceptionally good and the server was very friendly & knowledgeable.
Ordered the Mee Hoon (Thin Noodle) Goreng and Nasi (Rice) Goreng with chicken and shrimp. Really, enjoyed it as the server was nice enough to ask us how spicy we wanted our food to be. Tantalizing flavors and amazing taste.
Yeah, the restaurant is up in da cuts but you should be fine if you 're with people.
We also ordered food to go. Got the Murtabak (Chicken), Beef Mesak (Dry Curry), Chicken Yellow curry and Sambal Kang Kong.
To top it off, the prices were great and hearty quantities were delivered.
For those looking to add some spice to your life.....look no further. Mutiara FTW.

★★★★★  Great food. Bad neighborhood. I will come here definitely whenever i am back in LA. I recommend coming here on lunch as at night, everything around was closed and i saw couple of drug dealers roaming around. Food was also super cheap.

★★★★★  Took visiting family yesturday evening. Everyone enjoyed the food. Yep, even the kids loved it. Great service with a smile and everything was fresh. Note* If your "behind" hurts from sitting on hard surfaces then i suggest bringing a cushion because the chair seats are made of marble. Restaurant is on a main road, close to the Inglewood Mosque.

★★★★★  Great food at unbelievably low prices! My wife and I were initially reluctant to try this place out since we weren't sure what Malay food would taste like; fearing it may not satisfy our taste buds, that are so very used to spicey desi food....boy were we wrong. The owners of this place have extensively traveled and have been in business for over ten years. These guys customize the entrees to your taste and do a great job recommending entrees to your liking. Absolutely loved this place...to the extent that I returned the very next day to check out other items on their menu. These guys were featured in LA Times back in 2008 so you know you can't go wrong. Oh btw, they serve huge portions so don't be surprised if after filling yourself up, you still end up taking some home. Would absolutely recommend their Mutiara rice, honey chicken (especially the sauce) and their seafood items.

★★★★★  I went to this restaurant today with my family for the first time. It seems a bit intimidating because of the area its in but once you go inside it has a nice ambience. The brothers were very kind and respectful. I saw the menu and ordered a number of things because the prices were about half of what other halal places would be that Ive been to for the same stuff.
Example.. Chicken biryani was like 6 dollars a plate. Needless to say i expected that quality and quantity would suffer at that low of a price but oh Allah was I wrong.

The naan was the best ive tasted and the biryani was great. THe kabobs were spiced almost to perfection for the beef kabobs. They had a variety of drinks to choose from and in the end after ordering a good amount of food for myself and my family of 6 and drinks... total was only 51.75??? Goodness I've paid double that for half the food and far less quality.

Great place and good food for very very reasonable price. Brothers are more than kind and hospitable. I recommend it to anyone.. single or friends or family. May Allah grant their business a long life.

★★★★★  The owner used to live in Malaysia & son married to a Malay so the food is quite good for Malay tastes. Quite reasonably priced & saw other Malays regularly eating there. Not open on Mondays. Note that as far as I could tell the market is just some spices and whatnot and not halal meat, but I could be wrong.

★★★★★  My family together with some of my daughter's friends stopped by this restaurant on our way to LAX.
I was curios to note that people from Burma was offering 'Malay' dishes.
I met and spoke with the Burmese owner and was pleasantly surprised to know that he had lived in Malaysia for some time. Thus explaining how Malay food is availble there.
The entire group was mesmerised by the authenticity of the 'Malay' dishes and the price was truly down to earth. We practically
wiped clean all the plates because of the great tasting food.

★★★★★  I had a very good experience at ths restaurant. Not only that the food was great but the staff was very polite and humble. The owner is an Aalim (scholar) graduated from Burma.

The food was definetly authentic Burma & Malaysian style. It was even served in traditional dishes.

Food was great, seating was nice (not fancy or fine dinning), prices were very reasonable. I will definetly be visiting them again while I am here in LA.

★★★★★  My family and I have just visited this nice restaurant and got the chance to chat with the owner and his wife. The owner is an Imam in the area, al-Hafiz i.e. person who has completely memorized the Qur'an and also teaches/trains others to be al-Hafiz, subhanallah!!

The menu is wonderful - they offer excellent Malay, Burmese and Thai cuisines, so you'll be able to taste 3 different cuisines in just one visit! The restaurant is very clean and has wide parking available at the rear of the restaurant. It was really a pleasant experience eating out in this restaurant!
