 | ★★★ Stopped there on Thanksgiving day while visiting my in laws in Chicago. The gentleman working was extremely nice and helpful (even gave us free soda). We ordered the chicken wings, which were good, except that we ordered two different flavors (hot and bbq). What they do is fry the wings, and then pour some cold sauce (of ketchup like consistency) on top. My experience with wings is after frying, that the wings be placed in a container and shaken up with the sauce so that the flavor spreads evenly. Since I only went one time, I don't know if this is their typical practice or just done that day. I will give it another chance since I have heard good reviews from other people. |

 | ★★★★ I was driving thru chicago for the night with family tonite from san diego to maryland on roadtrip ad stopped by this place today. The chicken is good and the other food is good as well.
Prices are fair except i paid 8 dollars for 5 shrimps and a piece of boxed frozen breaded fish where as the sign says cod.
As for the dreaded lady at the counter that everyone complained about, well i got to deal with her too.
I must say shes all about business and doesnt chit chat about stuff which actually is good cuzz for muslim lady the prophet saws said should not be soft in speech with other men. Shes doing just right. Other than that she was very nice may Allah bless her.
Only recommendation I have for the brother as someone thats run fried chicken restaurants before.. Is that the breading needs to have more taste and tang. Also it would be better to pressure fry rather than deep fry to avoid all that greasiness. As for the shrimp and fish combo.. Buy box of pollock or tilapia at any restaurant depot abd bread it and sell that instead of that little piece of old fish you do now.
Also not that it matters to me since in just a passerby but you should charge maybe 2 dollars for drink and then allow free refills. Soda doesnt cost much but it keeps people coming back. This is fastfood 101. Good luck and thank you for helping muslims ear zabihah may Allah bless your wealth. |

 | ★★★★★ the chicken is great. for excellent service, place your order with Asghar or the Russian lady. The owner, Br Ghias is rarely there. the Indian lady is all about making the most $ as possible in a single transaction. she also lacks manners and common customer service skills. would definitely recommend the food |

 | ★★★★ The lady at the counter is VERY rude. We were literally one penny too short and she basically yelled at my dad to go get a penny from the car and then took it and threw it into the register. The quality of the food was very good and I will continue to return as long as the lady is not working there. |

 | ★★★ Mr. Ghias/siddiqui786,
Let me first let you know that food at your restaurant is amazing! This is the reason why we keep on going back. However, please note that the customer service really needs to improve if you want to keep your customers. The lady at the counter tends to be a bit rude when either of the guys are at the counter, they are very nice and welcoming but they are rarely there. The volume of the t.v. also makes it very hard to even place an order. It's also kind of disappointing to have to pay .50 cents for a slice of tomato on a sandwich. It is also very disappointing that us muslims sometimes get denied using coupons because "the halal meat is so expensive" but yet a non muslim gets to use the coupons. It is the muslim community that is helping your restaurant stay open so should treat them well and with respect. Please take my comments as suggestions and please not that I provide this with all due respect. |

 | ★★★★ Really missed the branch on Devon, which closed down to my disappointment, so took a 45 minute drive up from the city, and was glad that I did. The chicken was just as good, if not better, than I remembered it to be. Plus, the fries and coleslaw were an improvement to the ones I had previously. Amazing biscuits that are flaky on the outside, but buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. Everything was great, except for the buffalo chicken zingers, which were so-so in my opinion. They've come up with a burger and chicken sandwich menu that I plan on trying next time! |

 | ★★★★ I visit this restaurant often as my kids like their fried chicken and mushrooms. Spicy chicken takes longer so order ahead if you looking to get that. As far as I know all the items on the menu are Zabihah-Halal |

 | ★★★★ This place has REALLY improved their menu...now EVERYTHING is Zabiha-Halal! The Italian beef is to die for, and gyros are pretty good too. They only downside is that it's not a good place to sit down and eat, but for carryout it is the best options for miles. Watch out for catering service they usually get backed up, and have loooong waits. For Super-Bowl Sunday, we waited an hour and 45 minutes at the restaurant for meal we ordered a week ago...needless to say we missed the kickoff and the only touchdown Bears made :-( |

 | ★★★★ I checked out this place, it seems they do buy their chicken from Crescent. They have a sign on the counter stating this. They also have a Zabihah-Halal sign on the front door.
However they did mention that the non-chicken items, like hotdogs, sausage, and beef are not Halal. But the Gyros are.
The regular flavor is not all that great, but one can order the spicy version of any chicken item, takes a bit longer, but worth the wait.
I also saw a Curry place next door, not sure if that's Halal as well. |

 | ★★★ I will correct myself. After posting this, brother stopped by and told me that infact the owner is trying to get his menu fully zabiha. Not sure when this will happen, but keep posted. In addition, there is no pork item on the menu according to the owner. |

 | ★★★ The only think Zabiha there is the chicken. Everything else is not Halal. I asked the manager where the chicken is from and he mentioned from Cresent Chicken. Then I called Cresent to ask if this location actually buys from them and they said yes. I also asked if Cresent was the only provider and the manager said yes. I confirmed that too with Cresent. I went and tried the chicken, which was fine, but I recommended to them to have spicy version, which they said they will have on weekends and evenings. Having said this, I would recommend making sure this location keeps selling zabiha chicken. Since they sell Haram there too, a constant check is necessary. I am planning on doing that. |
