| ★★★★★ Subhanallah one of the best shawarma restaurants around in the chicagoland area. I found this location through zabihah.com while II was visiting for job training there. It was about 25 miles away from me and from the reviews it seemed like it was worth trying.
Subhanallah, I was very please with the food. They are 100% zabihah halal and the the shwarmas were almost same to same with middle east style shwarmas. Excellent customer service, the brother directed me to place to pray salat happily without any hesitation and when Imentioned i was visiting he offered any help I needed. Inshallah i will definately be back whenever i am in Chicago area no matter how far it is. |

| ★ Side note - Groupon never "expires", you can always reedem the coupon for the cash value (I paid $7 and received $15 of Falafil Hut food. If I don't use the coupon within the date it "expires" then the coupon is still worth $7 of Falafil Hut food once it expires. This is called the cash value of the coupon.
I can't comment on the food, but I will comment on the service. The day my GROUPON "expired" was the day they had "a family emergency" (coincidence?) So I go in the next day and say, hey I wanted to use this Groupon yesterday but you guys had a family emergency. They guy says sorry we can't do anything for you. I say okay fine, just give me the cash value for it ($7 of FH food). The guy said "Sorry, we don't accept groupon anymore even though it may say it on the fine print. However, you can contact Groupon and get your money refunded. "
Why work with groupon when you don't agree to the terms!? Poor business conduction and customer service. |

| ★★★★★ Im not really a review writing person but i just had to write about these guys. It was a sunday night and my wife and I wer looking for a nearby zabiha restaurant. We spotted this restaurant and the great reveiws and also heard about it from friends.
It was about 9pm sunday night when we walked in and it seemed it was closing time for the shop and the worker was putting things away. At this point my wife and I were starving. the worker let us know that the shop was closed and we were bummed. Then the owner walks out and greets us an said "dont worry, well stay open for you guys" and was extremely nice and helpful and made our sandwiches humself.
He insisted we relax and eat even though they were closed. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was above and beyond what we expected! Two thumbs up for these guys! Alhamdulillah we were very please that there is a zabiha/halal restaurant that my wife and I enjoy vey much.

The food here is excellent. I had the spicy chicken shawrma platter and it was delicious. My family loved the items they ordered too. Try the spicy gyro as well.
There's not much seating but if it's not busy, the brother will bring out a table or two if needed. Good service & great food at reasonable prices. |

They were very polite and accomodating. The place is not very huge but the food is just delicioussss!!!!!. even though there was many peoples they were fast service. We loved the food and inshallah we will definately be back with our friends.
The food and service is great! while we were waiting for our food they offered us free appetizers when the kids were crying. very nice people

| ★★★★★ This place recently opened up and is in a strip mall with other zabihah halal restaurants. A Zabihah halal certificate is also on display from the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council.
It is a carry out place and the food is freshly prepared to order. All sandwiches are made in front of the customer (like Subway) and you can tell them what you would like on your sandwich (i.e. pickles, hot peppers, lettuce, etc)
All items are reasonably priced($4-$8) and the staff is very friendly.
Items on the menu include falafel, shawarma, steak sandwiches (my favorite), hummus, tabbouleh, and chicken kabob sandwiches. Falafil Hut responds: Clarification: new owner is Muslim, the old owners were Middle Eastern Christian |

Firstly, the place was clean and the service was very good. the employees were very helpful and attentative. Secondly, the food lived upto its expectation in our opinion. It was made fresh right infront of us! we ordered the combination and the shawarma sandwiches and when the food came on the table it was hot and fresh and done within 5 minutes! it was something new because you can actually pick out shawarma flavors!!!! the hummus and baba ganoosh were extremely delicious. we dont really live nearby the restaurant but i will definately make trips out here whenever i can becasue its worth it!!!
