NR I was in HCMC last week and went to Mac Dinh Chi St for Satay House Malaysia restaurant for dinner with friends. Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer there. Have they been relocated?
★★★★★ The co-owner is ex-chef of shang-ri-la hotel; specialist in local malaysian food. He is chinese(hainam) muslim. Very friendly and humble person. Speak english, malay, chinese. Don’t laugh when you read word “Very” di front of halal food. It actually shows the owner very concern about halal food. They got supply raw cooking material from malaysia. They need special order for most of the raw material from local muslim supplier. The foods are goods and fantastic. Clean and air-con place. Just renovated. Don’t forget to order deep fried fish c/w award winning ‘kuah asam”. Always got round figure for your bill. Cheaper than Four season. Highly recommended.
