My friends and I just went on a trip to HCMC and we were looking forward to dine here. Alas when we arrived, The Amara has not only changed its name to The Ramana, The Cafe is now known as Singapore Cafe. When asked if they serve Halal food, they said it is no longer halal, but can cook up a dish that does not contain pork and lard for us. I do not have photos, but I hope more of you won't be disappointed like we were! So save yourselves the trip!
★★★ I stayed at Amara Hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. It is a 4 star hotel.
I was given breakfast coupon at "The Cafe" coffee house in the hotel and was pleasantly surprised when I found out that "The Cafe" had a halal certificate from an Islamic council in Ho Chi Minh city.
The food was good.
