★★★★★  I called nisa my hoem abroad. Ate everyday while in Hanoi, Naan and Roti Chenai si really good. But Malay Fish curry is the best. Though I am not Malay but i love to have this at Nisa. Hospitality of Nisa's owner and the staff is impressive. One must have to visit Nisa is she/he is in Hanoi. Meet is 100% Halal at Nisa as I myself is witnessed multiple times that it is being cut by the Muslims like me and by the Muslim owner of restaurant Mr. Ben Taat personally. Remarkable dinning in that corner of the world where difficult to find Halal.

NR  Assalamualaikum w.w. I thank you for the good comment to Nisa Restaurant submitted by j1483 on Feb 10, 2007. To be honest and truthful, we never ever serve any amount of pork or lard as (WE ARE 100% HALAL). We slaughter ourselves all the meats used in Nisa.

★★★★★  This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I ate there every day during my stay in Hanoi. I ordered the Fish Curry and it was the BEST that I have ever eaten ANYWHERE. The fish is fresh and delicious, and the spices are amazing. This restaurant is a real find in Vietnam, where almost all of the food is cooked with small amounts of pork and/or lard. Likewise, the vegetarian restaurants I tried in Hanoi were not very good-- mostly just overpriced western food, catering to tourists. Anyway, absolutely try this one out...
