| | ★★★★ PRICE-- 9/10 ($8-15 a person.)
FOOD-- 9/10 -- med-small portions, standard Afghani/Persian food.
SETTING-- 8/10 for pseudo-fastfoody place.
LOCATION-- 9/10 for being only one in its area (15min radius) and close to a major mall/shopping area.
AVERAGE-- 8/10 kinda place (yea, this is not a mathematical average, just how it 'feels' overall :)
DETAILS-- We were shopping in a random area, and were like like let's just check zabihah.com in case there's anything close. And lo and behold there was this place like 30seconds away! Very nice.
The word 'halal' is all over this place!! on so many walls and windows, it really makes you happy and confident w them. Food was outstanding, in my opinion, and just regular, in my friend's opinion.
Place is good sized big, and in between fastfoody and sit-down, kinda like a Denny's. Looks nice too. Also had a bathroom which was neat (literally: not a mess. nothing above and beyond). Oh, and also, they have tons of windows, trees, and tables to sit on outside if you want, and they had a HIJABI working behind the counter too! YYYAAAAAYY!!! These people are definitely good, and not ashamed to be around Muslims :)
The only crummy thing about this place was that when we were done, I was still quite hungry. Their portions were small to my standards, and I'm a pretty skinny girl (maybe I just eat a lot?). My dish did have only 6 gumball sized chunks of chicken though, so maybe it was just my luck that day.
For the price, the food, setting, and location, I would definitely recommend this place to others in the area though. Enjoy! |
