| | ★★★★ I am a student at Middlesex County College which is literally right next door to this grill. Allhamdolilah it was great to see that we have a Halal place to eat nearby since there are no special accommodations on campus.
However, after my first visit here I noticed that the prices were really high. The reason I say this is that as a college student I expected them to be a bit humble with their prices.
In any case, the food Allhamdolilah is good. The portions are nice. The beechwood homemade chips are ok. They taste a bit burnt thats all.
So overall my major objection is the pricing. Otherwise Allhamdolilah this place is good :-) |

We went there last evening
Found the place to be spacious, neat, clean and inviting
Ambiance was decent, relaxed and inviting
Checked the menu, didn't say if it is Halal. We asked the person who was taking our order, this person told us very soon a new menu is coming where in front of each item it will say if it is Halal or not. For now we were told all the items are Halal except for the cold-cuts.
The food we ate (six people in our party) was fresh, tasted excellent, portions were plenty and very reasonably priced.
They also told us that for now they are only open for breakfast and lunch and very soon will open for dinner also most likely from this Ramadan.
We'll go back for sure with more friends. |

| | ★★ Got an email from zabihah that a new place opened up near me so my wife and i decided to try it out after work. The place is clean and spacious with plenty of parking. We ordered alot to try various items from their menu:
1. Honey BBQ Wings- nothing great, but not bad either, average tasting.
2. Ceaser chicken wrap- the chicken was hot so that means it was cooked fresh, but then when it was put into the wrap it ended up wilting the lettuce and making it slimey, not good.
3. Beef swarma sandwich- bland and severly underseasoned, id steer clear
4. Falafel wrap- again this was bland, it needed salt and some sort of dressing.
5. The chips came with each meal, but they were also not salted and they were burnt.
I would not return here. No where does it say the food is halal and i asked the lady taking our order and she didnt know what halal was. There are much better options for this genre of food in central jersey. |
