| | ★★★★ went to this place for iftar with family. easy to find on rte 27 and plenty of parking. place is clean, with relative upscale and contemporary decor. servers were very nice. patrons and servers were mix of muslim and non-muslim, but all felt very comfortable. had the buffet which included dates, water, pitas, hummus, baba ghanoush, yogurt with cucumber, 2 seasoned pasta dishes and fruit for 'starters.' main entrees included shrimp dish, meat patty made with ground beef in squares, chicken dish with potatoes and carrots, couscous, rice pilaf, rice with lamb shanks. dont know the proper names of these dishes, but all were good. there was a small chocolate fountain for strawberries and small pretzels.
buffet costs $20 for adults and $10 for kids less than $10. 15% gratuity was automatically charged.
There is a very nice and roomy downstairs area for prayer and extra bathrooms.
onlydraw back was prices are not listed, sodas and juices cost extra and not included in buffet price- mngmt should inform diners of extra charges. otherwise had very enjoyable iftar. |

| | ★★★★★ I first tried Le Vant when they initially opened in 2010. I was so pleased be the chicken kebab and craved it every day onward. They are a new restaurant and I am sure they've had to tailor their menu in the beginning to please their customers, but if you talk to one of the staff they are more than accommodating. I decided to apply for a job there soon after, and I am currently managing the place. The food still blows my mind and that is coming from a born and raised arab. |

| | ★★★★★ I went to Le Vant for the Eid buffet and everything that was in display was great and for a place with such nice decor it was quite a bargain. However I will have to disagree with the review below me with the egg problems. I was there on Eid as well and the eggs were great they were boil so you cant really expect much out of it I ate them with black pepper and salt and it turned out delicious. I have been going to Le Vant for a couple of moths now and i must say it is top notch the best place in Edison by far. The kebabs are extraordinary delicious and I would indeed will continue to go there and I highly recommend people to try it as well. |

| | ★ I never wrote a review but I had to write one here. I went to the Eid breakfast buffet and I must say it was the worse buffet I have ever been too! I am born and raised here in the states and have been to plenty of buffets. I left speechless, I never thought anyone could ruin eggs! Very, very disappointed. I never ate there for dinner, so I can not comment on that. But if the food is like the buffet, I'll make sure I never do! |

| | ★★★★★ Wow. It's hard for kebab places that are a dime a dozen on the East Coast to blow you away, but this restaurant definitely takes their food seriously. My husband rolled his eyes when I told him I wanted to try a middle eastern place for dinner, but after eating there he has been recommending this place to all his friends. We tried a few appetizers: labne, kibbeh, and an eggplant puree (for lack of a better word) that was recommended by the owner. They were all so delicious and fresh, and hands down the best kibbeh I've ever tasted (and I have Palestinian in-laws :)). Pitas were standard but warm. Then we had the mixed grill for the main course - absolutely melt in your mouth meats. Everything was flavorful without being overseasoned, and tasted like it came off the BBQ. It came with a salad that was the perfect side. It was also a lot of food, and we had plenty of leftovers. We're planning another trip today - can't wait! And have to mention the decor - elegant and tasteful, and very unique. |

| | ★★★ LeVant is located in Edison and opened recently so we decided to give it a shot. The hummus and chicken kabab was pretty good. The meat pies were only so-so. Not sure I'd recommend. |

| | ★★★ we went with a group of people (around 15) and had to wait well over an hour for our food. i got the chicken kabab and it was absolutely delicious -- tasted like bbq -- i tried a few other things that others got with me and they were on the bland side, but mine was absolutely delicious. | | |
