★★★★★  This place is great. Love eating here with friends and family. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. Prices are very fair for the quality of food. The selection of food is wide and varied. The buffalo wings are my fav. Owner goes to great lengths to provide the best experience. The place has a great atmosphere and you will have a good time.

★★★★  At the Nile you can always expect to get fresh and delicious mediterranean food at a reasonable price. The interior is clean and decorated somewhat nicely. The food is not expensive nor is it very cheap. A cheesesteaks costs around $7 and a sit-down dinner will cost around $12. The owner is Muslim and very friendly and is clearly dedicated to serving the best
and highest quality food. I haven't tried the sheesha but it's available to order. All in all the Nile is a great place for a sit down dinner and the food is fresh as well as fantastic.

★★★★★  Amazing service--the owner is extremely friendly and the other staff members are great as well. The menu is large--the options are large in number and vary in type of cuisine (Egyptian, American and Indian). And the pricing is fair, as I understand it. You can't go wrong coming here =)

★★★★  Very Friendly staff and good food.

Note: If you want true Egyptian food, call prior to going and see if they have stuff prepared for that day.

They do not prepare everything everyday and only serve fresh prepared food.

★★★★★  A wonderful, authentic place to get Egyptian food right here on the Island. Menu is varied, prices good. You feel like you are vacation when you are dining there. Ibrahim, the owner, is very personable and they aim to please! You wont be sorry.

Update: Ibrahim has recently added a breakfast buffet on Sat and Sun. mornings, 8A-12P. The food is excellent and varied, including, Egyptian Fool(fava beans) potatoes, pancakes, french toast, halal beef sausage and turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, cream cheese and butter, all for the incredibly fantastic price of $5.99. There is an additional charge for coffee and if you like, a side of fresh homemade falafel, completing your Egyptian breakfast experience. (Fool and Falafel) The falafel is excellent and rivals any sold in Cairo. I love coming here and feeling like family. We are very lucky to have this restaurant here on the Island.

★★★★★  i live near Steinway(little Egypt) and have middle eastern food at every corner, but had to go to the island and ate at this restaurant, let me tell you, the best and i mean the best kofta i have ever eaten juicy, tasty, delectable, hubby had the buffulo wings, which he also says were one of the best he has eaten, and the babaganoush was just like they make in egypt, not the food processor kind hand made, and the owner was one of the nicest and friendliest persons we have met in a long time, needless to say we will be coming back again and again

★★★★  Good food and the owner is just a super nice guy. I personally like the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Excellent food, not the cheapest place around but this is more like going to a diner vs going to a fast food place. So you are getting better quality food.

★★★★★  Owner was a really nice guy. The food was pretty good too. I got the philly cheesesteak and it was HUGE. It needed a lot of hot sauce, but other than that the taste was pretty good. The fries were very good also. And it was very cheap. I got all that plus a snapple for under $8. i highly recommend this restaurant.

★★★★★  I ate lunch at the Nile last week and I can tell you, this place rivals any resturant or food cart in Manhattan for fast, fresh food. The falafel was moist and flavorful on the inside and crispy (but not overly so) on the outside. It was unique in that I beleive it is made with a combination of chickpeas and favas, which gave it that extra moistness (at other places, usually you get chickpea-only falafel which can be grainy and on the dry side). Also, instead of the usual round balls, these were flattened ovals which made it much easier to eat in a pita. These little, thoughtful details are part of what makes this place special.

I had a side of babba ghanoush, which was delicately and expertly seasoned and was a perfect mate for the warm, soft, grilled pita bread.

Overall, everything I sampled stood out by it's freshness...the herbs used must be fresh, not dried, to deliver such flavor.

As for the service, the chef/owner himself greeted me warmly (even though this was my first visit) and, noticing I was in work clothes (a suit) and was grabbing lunch in between client appointments, he took it upon himself to omit the onions on my falafel sandwich!!! That's a level of service that you won't find in most eateries.

I recommend people visit this gem before it gets too popular and crowded-something that's inveitably going to happen once it's "discovered"!! The food and the service are fit for a Queen (or a Pharoah...!!)

★★★★★  Where can I start, let me start with the owner, he is extremely genourous, with great mannerisms(akhlak), always courtous, always smiling, always welcoming, Now the ambience and decor, the restaurant is very elegantly decorated and is extremely clean, the service is top notch, the ambience is exquisite. And last but definately not least the food is remarkable, the kebab burger and gyros and falafel are to die for, very succulent and very fresh and also very inexpensive. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

★★★★★  Food is very good. Great service owner is very friendly. Place is decorated very nice. Good to eat in or take out. Had the philly cheese steak was excellent. Fries are old style and not deep fried very good. Food wasnt too cheap but at the same time not expensive because the portions were very big. The burger is 3x the size of a normal burger. They do have halal certification for those that are spectacle and the owner is a known muslim as well. Not your typical fast food, actually prepared very well and not too greasy.
