I've had Afghani food many times all over the bay but nowhere compares to the richness and fresh quality of Pamir. Their Bolani is simply amazing, it has potatoes and leeks with a perfect blend of spices that are neither too strong nor bland.
Their combination kabob was out of this world! The meat was tender and very flavorful. Best kabobs I've had in a very long time! Their Mantu was good, the chapli kabob was alright, probably wouldn't order that one again.
All in all, the restaurant has great ambiance and service! I went with my family and the waiter took good care of us making us feel right at home and made sure we were receiving an amazing overall experience. I'll definitely be coming back with family as well as friends! |

| ★★★★★ I'll keep this short & simple ... u wont find a better restaurant in the bay area ... they allow u to pray on site ... imagine that & i just called to make a reservation but they did not pick up ... 30 seconds later they call back! ... never heard of a restaurant calling back for a missed call ... i'm sure they were making a reservation 4 some1 else ... excellent cs! last time i ate food there was great ... seemed like a classy restaurant ... i think they should get a bigger place b/c i can see this place becoming more popular! |

Bolouni...give it a miss...the chiken wings...very expensive and over priced, but fantastic! We ordered in a large group, about 7 dishes, took over 40 minutes...but hey,it was fresh. Why are afghan restaurants so pricey???? Very nice people. |

First off, the family who cooks the food have been in the restaurant business for years so this is not a “new” thing for them… but it is a new experience for its patrons who can finally enjoy gourmet halal food, at very reasonable prices. The portions are more than adequate, they have amazing appetizers, succulent entrees, and their desserts are to die for. Lamb Kabob is my favorite… I have never eaten lamb that melted in my mouth like butter in the U.S., before this… fabulous. Five Stars |

| ★★★★★ Been there a few times now and each time the food has been fantastic, the service warm and very friendly. Chapli Kababs are very good and melt in your mouth. They also have great pizzas (chicken pesto pizza.... yumm) although you have to ask for the menu with pizzas on it.
Another nice thing for those of you with kids is that they have a special kids menu (chicken nuggets with fries, pizza, etc.). |
