★ Hot Wok should be avoided. We called them and asked who was their meat supplier (after they gave us the story that they are halal). They gave us the name of the supplier called "Peach Halal" and also a bogus number. We called the number to verify but it was disconnected. We called Hot Wok again then they said they don't have a number, and that some manager has it. Upon research we are so far unable to locate a peach halal company. If somebody is able to verify, please post it here but so far we are unable to verify, therefore due to the shadiness it should be avoided. Jazakallak Khair.

★★★ Went here twice and got a different story about the halal factor each time. Usually the person you ask doesn't know what is halal and they go "in the back" and come back and tell you that either the chicken only is halal or the beef, a little shady since I'm not sure if this is owned by Muslims or not. I had chicken only dishes the time they told me chicken was halal and the food was decent, pseudo-desi style Chinese food.

★★★★ This restaurant's food is pretty decent and you have a choice of requesting halal food. The hot and sour soup is awesome!
