★★★ I work downtown so this was a convenient walk over to get some halal food. Both times I ordered chicken dishes and got confirmation that the chicken was halal. The food was okay, not top notch. First time I ate there the chicken had a little bit of a funny smell. Second time was fine, indonesian fried rice is pretty spicey. Portions are large.
NR I just looked at their menu on their website and they serve PORK. How can they be on zabihah.com if they are not halal? Someone needs to investigate this further. Jazakallahu khairan
★★★★★ This place is nice and clean but a lil far and it is a totally commercial downtown area. But the food is the best among all chinese places in columbus. Only Chicken dishes are halal ut they don't server pork at all. Fried rice, chicken broccoli and general tso are my favourite. No one else made those dishes tastier than them.
★★★★★ They are serving Halal chicken and owner is indonesian. He showed me the meat packets with halal sign and farm address. I go their often now. Their food is tasty. Saigon Special Fried Rice, General Tso chicken, hot and sour soup, Yellow curry and Sesame chicken are top dishes for sure. Do try them.
NR Brothers and sisters, I just wanted to make correction about saigon palace. There is no halal chicken servered any more. Previous owner Jack on our request started halal chicken and on our request he put on their menu word halal. He left USA in august 2006 and before he leave I met him and asked about the halal chicken dishes and he said its up to new management. I asked new management and they said they don't have halal any more. I requested them to take off the word halal from their menu which they have not and missguiding us. I will personally check them after ramadan to make sure they have removed it from their menu until they bring halal chicken again. Before writting this information I personally called them to make sure they don't serve halal any more. Please ask before you order. Thanks Jazakallah Kahir.
★★★★ Only the chicken served here is Halal. Their saigon special chicken fried rice are so tasty just like eating chinese or indonasion food. And i love the chicken corn soup. Anything made with chicken is served Halal at this restaurnat. The price is reasonable too. I know the owner and his name is Chris and he is a very friendly person. I definately recommend atleast trying their chicken made dishes.
