| | NR Alsalamu 3aleikum, to all our customers at Sahara Supermarket and Zabihah.com users I would like to let you know that first of all Al7amdulilah all our meat is Zabihah(Halal), we dont hide our meat from anyone you may see it from the walk-in meat cooler glass you can see the whole sides of beef hanging as well as the Lamb and Goat. Secondly in front of our customers we have a screen which displays the prices to our customers before they pay where they can see each item as it is ringed up and regaurding amro1980 review about the candy bar; we carry middle eastern candy bars such as mars, bounty and kinder most of our candy bars are $1.49 some may be $2.00 we are not a convient store or a gasstation and we dont charge you for the same item 2 or 3 times more. Now regaurding the last review by neno our bakery items are half off on items which are baked one day before, meaning we keep our bakery fresh daily and regaurding the item you claim was opened and 30% was used for the bakery I would like to let you know that if there is any item opened on our shelf it was done by a customer or maybe it fell and we purchase our bakery invintory in bulk not shelf items and if anything I am sure all customers check their items before they take it we are always willing to exchange items with a reciept. I do thank you for shopping at Sahara Supermarket and we do apprietiate your business and thank you for your reviews. |

| | ★ I'm very dissapointed in this place. I read the review above about the pricing and surely that is very true. I have gone in there many times to purchase a certain item, I will not say because I do not want to be known of course. I do this every other day and each time they charge me a diffrent price. I didn't know prices change every other day!? These are baked good that they make in their own store. I had enough, started buying from another store. Just today we went in there to pick up some items, when we got home we noticed that one of the items was opened, the seal was broke and about 30% of the item was used. They used it for their baked good and put it back on the shelf, so people like me who overlook these things will not notice. Im not happy with that store and will not be shopping there again. |

| | ★★ I will say the negative first because it needs to be said. WATCH THE PRICES! When you go to the register, make sure you see how much your being charged. Every time we go in there they charge us more on 2 or 3 items. Last time we went in, they charged us 1.50 for a small candy bar, which you can get for 60cents. I don't really trust these people! They best part about this place..Their hot food! I probably will find another supermarket, I'm tired of being ripped off! |
