★★  I invited 5 of my friends to this restaurant because their outside sign says that they sell stakes. Unfortunately they didn't and this was my first disappointing factor. another one was the food we ordered didn't seem to match all the decor the owner has invested in.

★★★  The restaurant was full when i reached waited! The waitress was very nice and gave me a table as soon as it was available...The decor is nice but i think the restaurant was stuffed with tables and chairs...there was a shortage of staff...only two people and they were swamped literally...although I was served pretty quickly...but others had to wait a lot! The food was okay...beef boti was fine! Portions were adequate!

★★★★  I have tried their kebabs a few times. Never been disappointed with the food. Though I have always called ahead, and had carryout.

The decor here is very beautiful - We absolutely loved the tables, seats, and the charpai! However where the decor exceeds the food utterly fails.

Chicken Boti - it had no taste and was very dry.

Balti Ghost - the meat had a smell to it (very little meat - more bone) but the curry was tasty.

Chicken Jalfrazi - worse than the Chicken boti, the curry was eh.

PROs: DECOR, fairly friendly staff, Price (table of 4 for $30)

CONs: Awful food.

Chopal is a classic case of "oonchi dukan, pheeka pakwan". The place is beautifully decorated, no doubt, but our visit on Sunday night was horrible.

We waited 15 minutes before we were given a menu. There was one waitress and one manager and both were swamped. We ordered chicken tikka and behari kabab. Another 30 minutes before either showed up.
Both dishes were below average.

We were given 'complementary' soup and kheer at the end. Both were below average/tasteless/over sugared (kheer).

For a restaurant that looked very promising, our first, and only experience was very poor. I wouldn't recommend it.

Just drove past the place a few days ago, and it was closed, with a sign in the window stating 'license suspended.' I'm not surprised, as I went there once, and had the worst experience. I ordered the T-Bone steak, which was basically bone, and my wife had the shrimp, which was covered in chili powder and cilantro. The drinks were lukewarm and watered-down, and when I requested another, the waitress said they were out, and would have to rush to the store to get some. Bottom line: the food was inedible, the prices were ridiculous, and we went home unsatisfied and disappointed.

★★★★★  It is a very traditional style seating with beautifull table and chairs to dine on. Service is above average and food comes out in acceptable time. Food is very good and decent size portion. Tasty and spicy food and free soups.

★★★  Chopal has old-skool style in the heart of Devon. The best dish there was the bhindi. The service was exceptional and we were peppered with many things "on the house."
