★★★ Yupe it is no longer exist... Might be good if they inform us on this forum. We missed the food
NR Went to this place but it does not exist :(
★★★★★ The Marhaba Chinese Restaurant in Cerritos, CA, is my favourite
Chinese-style restaurant. My family loves to eat the many dishes, including Mangolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and more. To judge a Chinese restaurant, the quality of the Chinese food is most important and at Marhaba the quality is excellent. The spicing is perfect, and the deep frying is just right. Be careful, however, because the portions are huge, so don’t order too much food. The service is quite good overall, but the servers can sometimes be busy and getting the bill requires some patience. As far as the ambiance is concerned, the restaurant is very clean. The best thing for me as a family man, is that it is relatively inexpensive to eat there for eight. If you decide to go, The Marhaba is suitable for families and groups and celebrations as big as twelve people or so. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Chinese food.
★★★★★ ASSALAM-o-ALEIKUM so here i go went there on Sunday at 9:50pm my first question ARE YOU GUYS HALAL? He actually showed me his purchase invoice from ABDUL SATTAR (being a businessman i would never do that but he really is keeping it all simple and crystal clear) although the restaurant closes @10pm the owner still served us as a matter of fact we were there till almost 11pm he didn't even say a single word, the food was awesome we ordered nihari and it was the most amazing i've ever eaten in any restaurant in LA, the three flavored fried rice was off the hook GREAT, three flavored chowmien was alright but better than what i have eaten at other places and they topped it up with one of the greatest service i have ever received form a desi restaurant. i just cant believe this place has so much to offer since i went there last Ramdan
the owner informed me about opening late nights during the month of Ramdan and that they would offer IFTAR and SAHOOR.
great job brothers keep it up INSHALLAH from now you'll have all my business may ALLAH gives you prosperity and success and give HIDAYA to all the restaurants that say they serve HALAL but they don't do it.
★★★★★ A Salam U Alaykuim,
I went to Marhaba Chinese Palace on 4th of July Holiday, and I can't stop talking about their Food and their Service. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef Seekh Kabab, and their Double Style Shrimp is the best I have ever Ate.
I would definitaly recomend this place to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
★★★★★ I went to the restaurant today and honestly it has been a while since me and my family had such great chinese and pakistani zabihah food. Masha-Allah. The black peppered sizzling beef was amazing and definitely my favorite. That is one dish i recommend to everyone that goes there!
NR We tried the Chinese food, it was very good, specifically garlic chicken w jalapeño. Will definitely go again. The have Pakistani food too, didn't get to try that yet.
★★★★★ AOA,
I recently discovered this restaurant, and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent. I took my family for mothers day, Buffet that day was simply awesome. Plus they gave fresh roses to all the mothers. Which was a very nice gesture and first from a Desi/Chinese establishment. Another mention worthy observation was the service. I believe there are 2 or 3 partners and they individually were at all the tables mingling. Good food, Hospitable service and awesome ambiance!!! This restaurant is going places.... KEEP up The Good Work! see u guys on father's day!
★★★ Asalamualikum... I went there for the Sunday buffet. They had both chinese and pakistani food. The chinese food was not so great and the pakistani was ok. The food was tasteless and was not warmed properly. The service and staff friendliness was good. It has two banquet halls. Overall, it needs improvement.
★★★★ Went there for Sunday Buffet .Its nice place but way too many items on buffet, I will say those little chutney and other items. I would rather have quality over quantity. Also the 9.95 price was good for 12.95 is kinda high for this place. But its a good mixture of pak and chinese food if you wanna have different in one place. Service is ok.
★★★★★ We went there and enjoyed it very much. We enjoyed the chicken chow mein, chicken tikka masala, naan, and chicken corn soup. I like the option of getting Indian and Chinese food as the same time. The servers were really nice. I dont understand the bad reviews. People shouldnt be so mean. We should be an ummah of love and forgiveness to each other especially in this political climate.
★★★★★ I went to this place lot of time and im still loving the food the sunday brunch is awesome i always come to this place with my friends n they love the food n the chicken fired rice and the orange chicken are the best iv eaten lot of places but this restraunt is the best masllah
★★★ Went there recently after hearing several people rave about it, so my expectations and hopes were high. Sadly, they were not matched by the experience. This is a "just decent" option if you have to get your halal Chinese fix in the Cerritos area, but personally I would make my way to the other dedicated halal Chinese restaurants in the 10 mile radius. The taste is okay but does not "pop" (we ordered paratha, chow mein and a beef dish). Entree prices are the same as other places, so there is no incentive on that level. The weekly buffet price is attractive, but haven't tried it. The place is big but decor is not very contemporary.
★★★ Good food and specially Chinese and Pakistani together hard to find but I think they should work on quality rather than quantity. Too many dishes and they get cold fast. Some items doesn't really taste fresh. I like quality over quantity but I am fan of Buffet.
★★★★★ Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters,
FOOD: EXCELLENT!!! (5/5)
I loved the chinese dishes on the menu. My favorites: Crab Rangoon (Appetizer), 3-Flavor Fried Rice, Pan Fried Noodles (3-Flavor), Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp. The owner was so nice to us, that he gave us a free dish (Sweet & Sour Fish) on the house and NOT on the menu.
SERVICE: GOOD! (4/5)
Service was fast and the servers were courteous. However, some of the servers could start to learn more about the food that they serve, so that customers will know what they are getting. (Just a friendly suggestion to the owner)
PRICES: Very Good!! (4.5/5)
I have got to say that for the quality and quantity of food that you get at this restaurant, the prices were pretty reasonable.
DECOR: EXCELLENT!!! (5/5)
I personally liked the aesthetic beauty of the restaurant. Go inside and take a look. You'll know what I'm talking about. It's a lot better than most chinese restaurants that I have been to.
A word of advice: If you are ordering Chinese, make sure you have it at the restaurant. The food ain't ALL THAT if you eat it at home. It gets cold fast.
As for the indian/pakistani dishes, the only dish that appealed to my taste was Chicken Korma/Kadai.
Just my two cents.
★★★ As most of those review suggest, this place is average , the quality of the food is 3 star. The sunday Buffet had too many items and very small plate with food cold. I hope he reduces those items and keep them warm and better quality. Wish them all the best
★★ I went their with my family yesterday and was utterly disappointed. The prices of the Chinese dishes are higher than other halal chinese restaurants. Despite the price I ordered a variety of dishes, and unfortunately they were below standard. The fried rice were extra greasy and the meat wasn't cooked well. The sesame chicken had a raw taste as well and the texture was rubbery. The pakistani dishes were average in taste.
I m not a picky eater but my experience at this restaurant was really dissatisfying. The customer service by the waiters was okay, but the owners (well known people in the pakistani community) did not make us feel welcomed.
This is my very first review at Zabihah, I was prompted to write it only because my experience at this restaurant was horrible. My advice to the owners would be to improve the taste of their dishes or at least lower their prices. Customers like us should have an incentive to visit you again.
★★★★ Its seems like a nice huge place. Sunday Buffet for $9.95 is good deal, specially Chinese food included too , its super deal. The only few things I didn't like was small coke glass for $1.99 and a " B " sign from Health department. so thats why 4 stars. I think Muslim restaurant should def. have an " A " since cleanness is half of Emaan (Faith).
★★ I went here again because of a function. I didn't really want to go because i was going to waste my money but I wanted to see the show. The food really taste bad . When I went home i felt really sick. This was my worst experience i ever had
Marhaba Halal Chinese responds: I find this quite amusing. How you have had to post this same comment twice just to update it to the most recent date. I apologize if you had a bad experience during our free iftaar. inshAllah if you return please ask for Khurram or Ali and we will make sure that everything is to your liking. Thank You. Allah Hafiz.
★★★★ I went there with a friend and tried the desi food...Daal fry and naan were awesome...Havent had this good daal fry for a while..Lamb karahi was strictly ok..Will go back..
★★★★★ ASSALAMOO ALAYKOOM-
WE ARE FROM SAN-DIEGO AND WE ARE HAPPY 2FIND THIS PLACE !!!
ALHAMDULLAH THIS IS A NICE, CLEAN, GREAT RESTAURANT WITH A LARGE CHOICE OF GREAT FOOD, HAS A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT WITH GREAT PEOPLE AND I HOPE IT WILL ALWAYS STAY LIKE THAT INSHALLAH ! AND NO NEED 2MISS OUT ON THE PRAYERS, WE CAN PRAY THERE ALHAMDULLAH-
IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE-
★ the one and only thing I like from this place was the naan. everything else felt tasteless. would not recommend
★★ We went to visit this new restaurant.
The chinese food was not bad. We ordered pakistani dishes haleem, lamb paya qourma.
We did not like the taste and they need improvement compared to th restaurants on Pioneer Blvd
★ I love indian, pakistani food.I was so excited when I found out they also had chinese. I took my whole family there, but made such a mistake. My whole family went there for my brotherin laws birthday, and we were very dissatified with our service. They made our indian food all spicy when we clearly stated we didnt want any spiciness at all. The kids didnt eat so we just ended up eating somewhere else. Customer service was not good at all.
★★★★★ I went to Marhaba Chinese Palace yesturday, there food was excellent!!! i'm surprized to see other people writing bad about there pakistani food! :( They dont have INDIAN food, they have only Chinese and Pakistani ZABIHA halal food!!! I recommend if people want to eat INDIAN or non ZABIHA food then they should go to a INDIAN restraunt not PAKISTANI RESTRAUNT. This restraunt is selling only zabiha meat. And service is excellent i dont know what people are talking about and the food is the best food I ever had. the people who didn't like the food have a VERRY badd TASTE!!!
★★★★★ Last weekond, I was invited to eid milien party, and the food was GREAT!!!:D We had Beed Briyani Chiken qorma, and okra, and rasmali at the end were the best and very tasty... i suggest pple who likes chinese or pakistani food should really vist Marhaba Chinese Palace.
★★★★★ Went to the restaurant couple weeks back. Service was excellent. Everyone is extremely polite . The setup of the restaurant is very appealing as well. The food was excellent and very tasty. Inshallah looking forward to trying more dishes. (only had the Chinese)
★★★★★ I went to this restaurant today and the food was amazing.I started off with crab raccoon which is a appetizer one of the best appetizer I ever had the food was amazing the 2 flavored shrimp were the best shrimp i ever had. Cant wait to go again =]
★ Food not good only rice was OK ,everything else i ordered had a bad taste, its also out of the way, not going again in my life .
★★★★★ I went to Marhaba Chinese Palace, on sunday with my family and we had the best food in our life. I like there Orange Chicken, and honey Walnut Shrimp is the best!!! I recomend Marhaba Chinese Palace is the best Chinese and Pakistani restaurent in town!!!! And i verified with brother Abdul Sattar. They only buy 100% Zabiha Halal meat. I Recomend this place to every MUSLIM who wants to eat Zabiha Halal and the best food with excellent service!!!!
★★★★★ If a place has amazing food but horrible service i will not go back.
BUT this place, NOt only has amazing food but amazing service as well.
The food was brought out within a few minutes, and waitress kept refilling out water glasses even before they were empty.
the food can be described with one word only, AMAZING!! you could taste the freshness and it was hard to put my fork down.
everyone must try this place, i definitely will be back..!!
★★★★★ Went here for the first time on Eid with a few of my friends and I must say the food was excellent. We ordered the three flavored fried rice, Mongolian beef, chicken with jalapeños, and sweet and sour soup. My favorite dish was the the chicken with jalapeños because it wasn't too spicy and very flavorful. At the end of our meal our waiter brought us some gulab jamun on the house and wow it was absolutely amazing. I ended up eating 2 haha. Next time I will definitely bring my parents so we can try out the Pakistani dishes.
★★★★★ I came here yesterday and the food was really good. I loved the cleanliness of the utensils and the restaurant as a whole. This place is huge, so if you want to have a party or something they have a banquet hall. The waiters and the host were extremely friendly, inviting, and attentive to the customers need. They really take care of you while you are there! You will definitely leave satisfied! I will definitely come back to this place!
To the person who posted that the food was dry and old must have gone to a different restaurant. The food was definitely fresh, hot, and delicious when it came out.
★★★★★ I thought the food was amazing. Fired rice was near perfect not greasy or under cooked. House Shrimp, which was recommended by the Host, was delicious. The place was nicely decorated and clean. The restaurant also provided a prayer area for us, which was also a big plus.
★★★★★ I went to Marhaba for iftaar and the food was AMAZING. We ordered three flavored fried rice, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, chicken tikka masala and these house special shrimp. Everything was delicious and DID NOT taste old or dry. Even the naan was great!! Most places serve burnt or crunchy naan but it was soft and fresh. I definitely recommend this place!
