Chicken Cottage has relocated to 58-55 Castleridge Blvd NE, Calgary, AB T3J 3J8; Ph#403-984-4504.
There is a new owner and management. I was pretty happy with their current deal of $1.99 for beef burger and $7.xx for Pizza (which has improved in quality). They have ensured me about their products being 100% Halal. It's now even a better place to check out!
--We've been there quite a few times now. Food is fantastic - my favourite is flame- grilled chicken burger. There service is ok, only thing that bothered me few times is, they ask you to change you mind just because they are out of some certain product - I think that's a bit unprofessional.
Other than that, I love going there. Prices are reasonable, if I compare to other Halal locations. Despite having some issues here and there, I'd recommend that place. |

| ★★★★★ I have tried Chicken Cottage many times with my family and relatives and I thought the food was delicious. My favorite is Spicy fillet burger and spicy wings. My children always go for combo meals as it works out to be a better deal than buying drinks or fries seperately.
The only way a person can break into hives if they are allergic to fried food. It has nothing to do with Chicken cottage.
Fried food is cooked in oil and it is meant to be oily. I have tried the fried chicken at this place many times and it not as oily and dripping as other fried places.
Definately recommend this place to everyone!!! |

Below average for sure. We ordered chicken pieces and wings with fries wedges and coleslaw. The chicken was greasy with excess oil. seemed like it was cooked before and sat for a while then heated.
After getting back from this joint, my wife and I both broke out in hives and bumps. We are suffering 5 days later. We did not visit any other place that day to blame it on anything or anywhere else!!!! |
