★★★★  The Burgers here are awesome. The price and portion size is also great. Advice: Stick to the Burgers, the other dishes though good aren't good enough.

★★★★★  Had the 1lb "Famous" burger and loved it! Prices are fair and the quality is excellent. Everything about this place was amazing, including the fact that it was open late.

★★★★★  amazing food! went here multiple times in one week since we craved their food. we tried the chicken wings, chili cheese fries, inferno burger, cheeseburger, swiss mushroom burger, chicken deluxe burger and guacamole burger. overall, their chili cheese fries are divine! all their burgers are really good- especially the beef ones. wings are good, but not to die for. reasonable prices, excellent decor, reasonable service- however, each time we have visited, they have never come to our table to offer drink refills. still, i can't get enough of their burgers and chili cheese fries. will go back again to try other items!

★★★★★  I have been many times for a few years now. It's a great place for burgers and other types of food such as subs, mexican food, and chili cheese fries! Here is what I have eaten: Nachos Grande- The first time was the best nachos ever! But then for some reason the last two times I got it there was absolutely no flavor in the meat, it was bland! So make sure to tell them to flavor the meat if you order this. Famous Burger- It is great and juicy and it comes as two sandwiches so you can save one for later to eat as dinner or next day lunch. Bacon Cheese Deluxe- First food I ever ate there, the burger was great but the "halal" bacon was hard like a rock. Chicken Club Deluxe: It is made from chicken breast and it was juicy, not dry. But again it came with the "halal" bacon that was really hard to eat, so ended up taking it out of the sandwich. Inferno Burger Deluxe: This had pickled jalapenos in it that are eaten with nachos. It was good, but if you like spicy then I don't it's that spicy then. Chicken Quesadilla: It is 1 huge tortilla folded in half and cut into 4 pieces, I loved it! Chicken Wings Deluxe: I have gotten this the past few times now, I love the wings they are juicy and tender and the sauce is awesome! Turkey Wrap- Cut in half, stuffed full of the meat that you pick. Like a lot of meat. The turkey sub is great when you are watching what you are eating since it has less fat. Famous Tacos: Meat in soft-shells, it was delicious. Turkey Sub, Chicken Sub, Steak Sub: Again as mentioned for the wraps, it is full of meat! The cheese was oozing out of the steak sub, it was great and comes with sauce for that sub. Chili Cheese Dog: Excellent Chili Cheese Fries: This is so great!!! I absolutely love it! Definitely try this when you go, this is my favorite on the menu. Also if you can't sit and eat there then just call them and order to go and you can pick up your food. Usually takes 15-20 minutes for the food to be ready to pick up.

★★★★  I used to go there all the time. Because I am usually busy, I like to pick up the food. When they are not busy the service is good. When they are busy the service can be really bad. One time I was ignored in the drive thru, with a manager type guy looking at me occassionally. He could have been just some guy standing behind the counter for all I know. I was there a full half hour after the time they told me my food would be ready. The waitresses looked at me while they were chatting and smiling and helping other people. It took them about 15 minutes before they even talked to me. and then another 10 minutes before they told me my food was coming. How long do I have to wait for a couple of burgers?? That manager looking guy eventually became considered and came and talked to me. I told him I have been waiting like an idiot for 30 minutes for my food and he didn't even apologize. I don't see myself going back unless I am forced to. The food was OK. It is definitely above average when you compare it to other halal restaurants. I usually don't get the dressing because they tend to pour too much.

★★★★  This place closes at 4am that is right! They serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The food they serve are pretty much Diner food, Mexican food, and a Hookah lounge outside. Overall the food is great especially the salads they are enormous and good for you. Besides the food. The ambiance and people are wonderful including the owner.

★★★★★  I love this place, it's so fun. the decor is totally american, as is the menu, but in a good way! it's refreshing to see a menu like that and know that you can order ANYthing on it! if you're really hungry, go for the famous burger hall of fame!!!

★★★★★  There are occasions in one's life when you stumble upon so something so monumental, so colossal, that the rest of your life is defined by that one irrevocable moment.

I sensed that Event was iminently approaching when I walked into Famous Hamburger for the first time. It swept over me when I took my first bite of the Deluxe burger and washed it down with Pepsi; it rendered me speechless and dizzy, and I fought back the tears welling up in my eyes. But I could contain myself no longer, and I put my head down on the table and wept. Years of pent up sorrow convulsed my limbs, and I know not how long I remained there crumpled, oblivious to the stares from all sides.
How good is the food? I struggle to find the words. I can say but this: the food is so good here, one must resist the urge to kill oneself afterward.

Alas, a HALAL place, so close to me. A Clean, well lighted halal place, with an abundance of seats, flat screen tv's...., in which a waiter seats you!!! HALAL!!! Not only that, it has an outdoor patio, and A DRIVE THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HALAL DRIVE THROUGH!!!

OC residents, read this and weep; for the LA area has regained supremacy for the ultimate in Halal cuisine. Famous Hamburger has, in one fell swoop, laid waste to all those joints on Brookhurst Blvd and the rest that litter the OC landscape. OC residents, your reason to live there has ceased to exist.

May Allah reward the owners of Famous Burger and their lineage with the highest stations of Paradise. Ameen

★★★★★  Not bad, I leave town for a while and SoCal props up a handful of good American halal restaurants. This happens to be one of them... I enjoyed the atmosphere and the attraction of good halal food along with hookah. The portions were extremely large, the owner and staff were very helpful and social, and the prices were great. Oh--- and the food was good too!. I would recommend the burgers and wings. I appreciate the fact that the owner chose a city that he grew up in and stuck to his roots!

★★  Burger was okay. The beef bacon (halal) was extremely greasy. I have had much better burgers, in fact Gourmet Burgers in OC is so much better and prepared much neater. Customer service I had there was horrible, not welcomed at all.

★★★★★  My family and I visited SoCal for a wedding a few days ago and we flew in late in the evening on Dec 24th, so we thought nothing would be open late. We were hungry thought we'd call Famous Hamburger and found out they stayed open until Midnight - it was fantastic! The burgers were delicious, and they give you a large helping of fries. We also had the hot wings - the best I've ever had. My son ordered the chicken nuggets from the kids menu and he loved them as well. We went twice during our weeklong trip to California and would definitely go again!

★★★★★  I drove a little over an hour to try these halal burgers, and it was definitely worth it! Famous Hamburger is now, by far, one of my favorite places to eat. At various other places I've gone the service is not that great and the food could be better. But Famous has real waitresses, and amazing food. We were served by Jacky I believe her name was, sooo so nice! Very accommodating! I strongly recommend to request her service, very polite and so funny! The owner Ali personally greeted us, which is pretty rare, and was the nicest person! He literally said "Give them everything they need! If they're not happy, I'm not happy!" He was very welcoming! The whole place is great! They have a wonderful hookah bar outside and everything is very reasonably priced! Not only do they have burgers, they have chicken, hot dogs and even BACON!! Not pork beef! I had never had bacon before and it was great! I had the inferno burger with bacon! It was awesome! I was also surprised to find a Halal Mexican food menu! Next time I'm there i'm trying their Mexican food! Over all, nothing but positive things to say about Famous Hamburger!! Even the cook greeted me!! =)

★★★★  The burgers were very good and there variety with them is awesome. The rest of the menu selection is great. Customer service was good too, and they're open late. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone in the area. It's worth the drive from OC at least once!

★★★★★  I think this place is great mashaAllah. Its a nice, big, clean restaurant. The waitresses are the nicest I've had at like any restaurant. They gave us dates to break our fast which is very sweet. The burgers are delicious. Well cooked and flavorful. I had the bacon cheeseburger and tried some of the spicy burger I forgot the name. But the fries could be better, they didn't have much taste. Also the nachos weren't very good. Next time I'll try the chicken strips. Also the neighborhood is pretty bad. I felt like I was in an episode of Cops.

★★★★  This is a nice burger joint with plenty of space, lots of menu options, and good customer service. The burger patty is thick, fairly juicy, and flavorful. The lettuce and dressing on the burger can be a bit sloppy. The fries were fine. While it was good overall, I was not overwhelmed as though this was the absolute best burger ever (even in terms of zabihah burgers). I may occasionally return to this restaurant but don't feel addicted to this place.

★★★★★  WOW!! MASHALLAH!! We drove 45 mins to this place and on the way my husband said, "This is the first and last time I ever dive 45 mins for a burger" but after seeing the beautiful, large, new, clean, well-decorated restaurant & most importantly tasting the delicious food, I know we will be back!!

★★★★★  This is definitely the best Halal restaurant in Southern California!!! The burgers are SOO good, and the whole place has the quality (in terms of cleanliness, aesthetics, taste, etc.) or a non-Muslim place, which is rare! The waitress was SOO nice, they gave me a free t-shirt when I went, and the place is so clean and SOOOOOOO delicious!

★★★★★  There are so many great things about this restaurant that I don't even know where to begin. The menu first of all has something for everyone, Insha Allah. The atmosphere is family friendly, in addition, it appears to be a halal "hangout" for young people. The service is GREAT! The owner, Ali, is easy going and approachable. He personally goes around to every table and asks is everything "ok." One day I ordered a steak and unfortunately they were sold out. Ali came to the table and assured me next time they would have steaks. Today; to my surprise, he remembered telling me this and personally made me a juicy, mouthwatering, and delicious steak on the house! How's that for service? Also, a major plus is that the place is always clean including the bathroom, alhumdulillah. Oh yeah, the portions are large and sometimes you'll need only one plate for two :). May Allah(swt) continue to bless Ali and his business, Insha Allah. All in all, I do believe that this is now my husband's and I new fav restaurant. Insha Allah, you all will enjoy this place as much as we do. Shukran Ali and staff for everything! :)

★★★★★  I have always had "burger envy" when my friends went out and got their huge yummy specialty bugers, and I ate a fish sandwich. I drove an hour and a half to get to Famous Burger, and it was worth every cent of the $3.85/gallon I had paid at the pump. The atmosphere is ammazing and professional. It is super clean, and the staff is so friendly, that you would think that they are still interviewing for the job! The food, the food, the food. I ordered the massive 12" beef sandwich. It was stuffed with fresh beef, mushrooms and cheese. Their chili cheese fries are delicious and so plentiful that they could be an entire meal. They even had Chicken Nuggets the kids, and gave me CORRECT directions back to the freeway! JAZAKALLAH!

★★★★★  My experience at Famous Burgers was very very good. The burgers were spectacular, I tried the grilled mushroom burger and I loved it, but what I loved the most was the fact that they have many other options, like chili cheese hot dogs, chili cheese fries, Cheese Steak sub (which were both also very good and very fair prices), along with many many other items, even breakfast (those were the only ones I tried and all were great!!). Their cocktails and shakes also very fresh and fabulous. The food was fabulous but what I liked the most was the atmosphere, it's very clean and roomy and has televisions all around the restaurant so friends can go and catch a game, which is something we don't have here in the muslim community. Overall I loved everything about this place other then the location I wish it was closer to my house, but definately well worth the trip!!!

★★★★★  I tried Famous Burgers Today. Simply AMAZING!!! The food was excellent and the portion size for a meal was more than enough to make any person full. Pricing is VERY generous, and the owner was a very kind gentleman. The atmosphere is great, with televisions on the wall to enjoy a great ball game. The service was quick and the restaurant was spacious and clean. I recommend Famous Burgers to all. Oh yeah, its a free WiFi spot as well!!! I'm sure with the help of Allah Famous Burgers is going to excel and become the best Halal Restaurant in Southern California. SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
