| ★★★ For those who had bad experience with this place I would suggest them to give this restaurant another chance because it is now under new ownership since last four months. I went there last night and ordered BBQ grilled platter and it was delicious. Keeping this in mind that I am from sub-continent, so I know how good chicken tikka and bihari kebob should taste. Most reviewers were complaining about lack of service because the previous owner was handling both the restaurant and grocery store next door at the same tIme. The new owner is very attentive and polite. He came by and asked us several times that if needed anything else and how's is food. So the service has definitely improved and this place deserves another chance and better rating. |

| ★★★★ i cant fault the food -- always good. however service is a different story, they usually have 1 customer facing person, and he is either not experienced in waiting or has poor time management skills. all the times i have gone, they rarely have more than one other table to deal with... so the poor service is even more bewildering.. i have resorted to mainly take out from this place, hence continuing to enjoy their food, while not having to deal w/ the rest. |

| ★★★★★ the food was excellent and the service was great. for one, it had a working air conditioner, unlike many of their competitors who apparently have perpetually broken A/C units. the food was excellent and very fresh. i highly recommend checking this place out. the owner is very nice and asked us often if we needed anything. in short, the service was great and so was the food. |

We felt the owner went extra yard to provide high quality food and service and we had the wonderful time there. We tried quite a few places when we drove from Chicago to San Antonio and this resturant was by far the best among all we tried. |

| ★★★★★ After reading the above reviews I wasnt sure whether i wanted to try out Tandoori Hut or not. Either the reviewers had really bad luck or the owners have really taken their reviews to heart because I had lunch there yesterday and the food was EXCELLENT. We decided to go with the buffet so that we could try as many items as possible. Everything was fresh, the nihari was excellent, biryani was just like homemade. We also tried the halwa puri - also good. The service was excellent, they brought us fresh hot naan right to the table and it was delicious. We left the restaurant very happy that there is finally quality desi food in Austin! |
