Everyone at the aqeeqah loooooved the food. My husband slaughtered the lamb himself and then delivered it to Br. Basil, the owner, to be prepared. We had stuffed lamb, more rice, fattoush, hummus, and chicken as well. We opted out of dessert due to our budget, oh, and we had grape leaves too.
It was amazing. And I have also had their food at catered events and iftaars at the masjid, and it's always just as good (desserts too!)
I wish they had a restaurant, because I think they would be always full!
I think the prices are really fair as well, and when you give your budget, for example $9/person, or more or less, he will tell you what can be ordered.
Everyone asked who made the food, and everyone wanted seconds!

It really felt home-made, tender, and delicious: chicken, lamb, rice, tabouli, lentil soup, etc. The owners were very courteous and offered extreme hospitality. They do catering, and manage to make excellent dishes for the big events. Those living in the neighborhood must be very thankful to have such place. |
