| | NR I have been checking on this place for a couple months and I think they closed down. |

| | NR Is this restaurant still open? I have been trying for several months. Everytime I call, I get a machine. Now it says the voice mailbox is full. Everytime I go there, it is not open. The last time I passed by, it had tue full signage and everything...but everything was closed up. What gives? |

| | ★★★ Went out of my way to find this place as I was craving something other than Pakistani, Persian, or Lebanese. The place was clean and the staff were nice. Had the beef burrito/wet. It was ok, but they did not put much red sauce on and then they stuck it in the microwave and dried it out. I will give them another try later. |

| | ★★★ Went there on a weeknight (Wed) around 6pm and the place was empty, except for one cook and one waitress. Tried the birria (shredded beef) tacos. They were pretty good but not outstanding. Other tacos were just ok. Tacos are 99 cents each.
We also ordered the chicken enchilada plate (about $8), which came with 3 enchiladas and rice & beans. The chicken had an unexpected tangy flavor (citrus?) that you usually don't find in the dish. The rice and beans were fairly bland, and seemed like they were not prepared from scratch.
There is a salsa bar, but some of the salsas seem to have been sitting around for a while. The place is clean and has Mexican decor for ambiance, and patio seating as well.
May return to try a burrito or tamale sometime, but this establishment needs to focus on ramping up freshness and flavor.
The horchata is a fountain drink version, not home-made. 'Nuff said. | | |
