★ This place was horrible. The service was horrible. The food was horrible. There was never a time where I went to the bar (buffet) and food was readily there. Everytime we had to catch the attention of our waiter and have him tell the cook to fill up the buffet dishes. Before we had a chance to eat dessert we were kicked out of our seats and the restaurant. The reason we were given was that "today is very busy and there are other people waitng to eat". We were only there for an hour. Please realize we did have a party of 20 for the buffet. When we asked for the manager he was very rude way worse than the waiter and he stayed in our face at our table speaking rudely to us until we gathered our coats and purses and left. We were humilated infront of everybody. It was Mother's Day and we had a horrible experience that we will never forget. I even went as far as contacting the owner of the restaurant out of state. I spoke with him, he told me he would be flying to atlanta this weekend and that he will call me to meet me at the restaurant regarding this matter. Guess what??? The owner never called me and I was never able to get in touch with him again. I will never go there again and nor will my family. The party of 20 was only 1/1000 of a percent of the business we could have gave this company. Too bad for them in this extremely competitve industry. I have nothing good to say about this company or the staff.
★★ Nice place as far as the setup is concerned, but it is like a Chinese buffet .... everything tastes the same. Very questionable as far as the Halal claim is concerned. Someone recently told me that they are not even backing up their Halal claim anymore but I have not confirmed myself. Owners are non-Muslims ( Hindus ) and Alcohol is served at this establishment. Good for vegiterian stuff though. I will not eat there again and have not done so since the last 3 years.
★★★ If you are very particular about eating Zabihah then stay away from places that sell Alcohol. More so if the owners are non Muslims. Chicken, cows & goat etc. are all Halal but ask them if it is Zabihah and they don't have a clue.
★ I called Minerva and asked him where they get their meat from, he said he gets it from ATLANTA HALAL MEAT and Tista Corp. but mainly from Atlanta halal. I know the Owner of Atlanta Halal Meat (Saeed Bhai), and I just spoke to him and he said HE DOEST NOT SUPPLY MEAT TO ANY MINERVA RESTAURANT. Muslims who eat halal should avoid this place.
★★★★ This is non-Muslim owned restaurant. They have advised that they buy the meat from Atlanta Halal or Bismillah. Great veggie selection as well. Lunch buffet quite extensive.
