★★★ let's try to remember we are reviewing the food here, not the airlines. I was also told that all the meat on Air India is Halal. I'd have to say it was quite fair, nothing spectacular but not terrible either.
★ my first time flying with air india and it was horrible experience i ever had. The smell of the food want me to be sick. it was curry all the time even in the morning.
NR Flew LHR-JFK. Was told by crew that all meat served by Air India is halal. Staff were great but interior decor did take my mind back to the sixties.
★★ I would advise you all against taking Air India. I have had the worst experience ever while flying Air India. The service is Okay but infrastructure is very pathetic..the upholstry and seats are too worn out. And it seems like they only purchase used fleets from larger Airlines. The flight seems at least 15-20 years old. I have so far flown Air India 3 times consecutively and it is same everytime. The last time was the worst experience of all. They left me stranded at Bombay Airport without any connecting flights (I was supposed to have been taken a connecting Air India flight to another location). they just told me that I have fend for it myself. They staff is one of the most irresponsible lot. Anyways,...if you fly Air India..Expect the worst and hope for the best. I was told that the food is halal onboard.
