★★★★ I flew sri lankan airlines this summer to Kuala Lumpur via Colombo. The food wasn't anything special, they were out of the halal food, so we were given the so called "halal food" which apparently was cheese curry with rice and veg.But on the way back the food was at a five star rating and was more frequent.
★★★★ I've been on flight from London-Colombo-Kuala Lumpur and back again. Pleasant halal food, especially when you request/book them earlier, because you'll get served first before anyone else. If they couldn't serve halal food for any reason, the vegetarian is very nice as well.
★★★★★ Sri Lankan Airlines Catering service makes all efforts to provide HALAL meat products. Further, Emirates Airlines has a major stake in the airline. Usually, the Sri Lankan staff are aware of what is Halal and Haram.
