Halal summary
The staff of this airline has verbally confirmed halal status.
★★★★★ I think the food is excellent on international flights.
Rumors aside, Sunny brothers don't have a problem as the Shia are Muslims. Believing that Ali was an Imam like prophet Abraham and the best choice after prophet does not make you non-Muslim according to any credible scholar.
NR just make sure the meat is fit for sunnis to eat, what a shia calls halal isn't necessarily permissible for us (esp. if the slaughterer of the meat was shia, then it's not ok as per Imam Bukhari's fatwa)
★★★★★ Iran Air perhaps has the best service. as soon as you sit, they provide you with candies/mint. Their food is good and service is excellent. But their aircrafts are old and due to sanctions they cannot update them.
★★★★★ Have travelled every year for summer visits. The food always tasty and fresh. The Jooje (chicken) kebaab and Baqqaale polo (broad beans + rice + lamb) are exquisite! It makes up for those old and weary toilets on the plane and the general chaos of traveling with Iran Air!
