★★★★★ My husband and I tried this restaurant based on the good reviews on this website, and we loved it! Very tasty and authentic Pakistani food. We tried the chicken biryani, chicken karahi and naans, all of which were delicious. Good sized portions too, we ate till we were full and still packed some to take back to the hotel.
Server was polite and came to check on us several times. The only downside was the price, which was a bit steep. But the location was ideal as we were roaming around Clifton Hill and it was so convenient!
Overall, we had a good experience and really enjoyed it. We'll be back! Posted on August 29, 2013 |

★★★★★ Very taisty and clean lunch Posted on August 24, 2017 |

★★★☆☆ Good food but pretty expensive. It somehow ended up as $73 with only a few things ordered. Make sure you say opt out of the tourist fee! Posted on February 20, 2016 |

★★☆☆☆ The portions are very less, and expensive. Kabab was good but the chicken karahai we order was not actually authentic chicken Karhai (I think it was chicken curry saloon). Above all the food was also expensive. Posted on January 24, 2016 |

★★★★★ Really good food. Butter chicken, chicken 65 and barbecue was good Posted on December 29, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Tasty option while visiting the Hill. Chicken biryani seemed infused with punjab flavors- delicious though not the Indian taste I was craving. Kids thought the butter chicken was spicy but the portion was generous. I'd go again if I was in the area. Look for their van driving around town! Posted on December 11, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Originally we wanted the buffet but chose not to get it as it didn't look very fresh. We ordered food off the regular menu and it was AMAZING. Food was great, service was fabulous - will definitely come back here iA. Posted on April 28, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ we visited this place and hoped to eat authentic Pakistani food. Food and service were terrible I would not go there again. Posted on April 8, 2013 |

★★★★☆ You can't beat the location if you are visiting Niagara Falls. The lunch buffet we tried was delicious but expensive, around 13.99.
There were many items to choose from, sweets were also good, and the service was timely though the waiter seemed harried. Add in the 10% automatic gratuity and Canada's 13% tax it is not cheap.
Like a classic Indo-Pak joint, we had an oversized fan blowing at us. It's not much for ambience (like the auto shop type garage door that passes for a wall LOL) but the food was excellent and restaurant was very close to our hotel. Posted on July 15, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Asalaam Alikum, we tried this restaurant on a recent trip to the falls. Although we only ordered one dish (mix grill platter) it was a good one. The restaurant is behind burger king. I would certainly go back to it. The quantity was enough that the two of us could not finish it, prices are around $12 per person. Posted on June 3, 2012 |

★★★★★ Just off the tourist-oriented Clifton Hill, tucked away on a small side street right next to an animatronic vulture, is a delightful restaurant called Curry Queen. Visting Niagara Falls for a conference, my mother and I wanted to avoid the usual tourist traps and find something local. From their service to their menu to their attractive website, Curry Queen is a class act. We visited the restaurant twice during our stay in Niagara Falls, and I can say without reservation that their Indian food is the best I've ever tasted. The curry is incredibly flavourful, butter chicken is rich and delicious, naan bread is hot and tender, and everything tastes as if it's been homemade from natural ingredients. Be sure to save some room for dessert - Kheer is a strongly-spiced rice pudding, and their Gulab Jamun (deep fried cheese balls in sweet syrup) is the best I've had anywhere. Curry Queen is a gem in Niagara Falls: amazing food, convenient location, reasonable (NOT tourist) prices. If you like Indian food, GO THERE! Posted on March 26, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Good food and fast, pleasant service. We had the lamb biryani which was delicious and the tandoori platter which was tasty although the quality of meat wasn't great. Naan was fluffy and fresh out of the oven. Chicken pekoras were yummy! Overpriced meal but so is everything else in Niagara Falls! Posted on March 24, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I will say food is average given the fact that overall Niagara falls does not have many halal options. I will however say that some of the side items are priced just too high (Raita for $3) and even then the quantity doesn't do any justice whatsoever to the quality or price.
Apart from that the seating arrangement is very awkward, the parking lot next to the restaurant is not the one for which the owners offer parking credit but rather the street parking which is next to impossible to find during peak season and hence next to never paid for or credited by the owners. I think they should really partner with the parking lot next door as that causes alot of confusion and frustration for patrons. And last but not least please get the AC to turn on and vent the place properly it was HOT HUMID and quiet irrirating to sweat at the restaurant. Posted on August 15, 2011 |

★★★★★ I first heard about Curry Queen from a friend. If there's an opinion I trust in the tourist trap of Niagara Falls' Clifton Hill,
First off, the food was delicious. The first time I went, I had naan and chicken tikka masala and it was delicious. The naan was fresh and the quality of meat and produce used in the chicken tikka masala was surprisingly very, very good--in my experience, some restaurants try to get away with using cheaper ingredients and hiding them in heat and spice--not so with Curry Queen.
The menu is also pretty reasonable--more pedestrian-friendly fare includes Shawarma, Falafel and a Chicken Tikka Wrap (which was fantastic). Heck, it certainly beats going to the Burger King right next to it, which, after they've jacked up their prices, is probably more expensive and less satisfying by a mile compared to Curry Queen.
The service was great both times I have been there. Very quick to address me, courteous, friendly and efficient. Could not have asked for more from them.
The only point that got knocked was atmosphere...only because it is facing the awful painted wall of Dave and Buster's. It's on a quiet little side street, just barely off of Clifton Hill, which is a nice change from the bustling people on the Hill. The patio is lovely and I particularly enjoy the people watching POV granted from here. I just really hope that the less traffic on the street doesn't keep people away from this restaurant, because it's EXCELLENT.
Really enjoyed my experience here. Would DEFINITELY recommend. Posted on July 15, 2011 |

★★★★★ The food was really good. We tried the chicken tikka, kabab, palau , shawarma and qorma. i just love it. You know what...... its really hard to get the indian food in most of the foreign countries, but In Niagara falls the CURRY QUEEN provides all kind of best indian food items, JUST HATS OFF to them .Moreover , The owner was very nice and friendly and staff also nice as well. ★★★★★ I was in Niagara Falls and stumbled across a quaint little restaurant just off of Clifton hill. It had a halal sign, but I am always cautious. the owner very happily showed me proof by showing me a bill from their supplier. The buffet was surprisingly tasty. I think this places buffet food is better than most restaurants menu food. They were very friendly and helpful, I will definately return Posted on July 14, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ The food quality was very poor, the sitting arrangement was not adequate and the prices were too high.
I think people go there because they are not aware of other halal options.
Not recommended at all Posted on July 13, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Expensive for what you get. Buffet is very small, with limited offerings. We were not allowed to order from menu because the "kitchen was very busy" (may be catering, the restaurant was not busy). Food quality wasn't good, it was actually quite bad ... tasted below average. Not much space for sitting either. Disappointing place. Posted on May 29, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ (1) A halal place near the falls; (2) Food was average or just slightly above; (3) Service was okay; (4) As it is in a touristic area, they should consider improving the ambiance and the level of cleanliness Posted on October 11, 2010 |

★★★★☆ We had gone to Niagara Falls, Canada for a day trip & found this halal restaurant on google. Owners are very polite, and good people - pakistani muslims by origin. The food served was good, epecially the butter chicken. The whole tandoori chicken was a little overcooked for our taste. The prices are reasonable considering it is a tourist area. Also the location is very good, as it is just one block away from the mad of the mist ticket counter. Posted on September 6, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ The food was good. But I can not say that it was great. We (11 of us) went there for dinner buffet. And the prices were pretty high. At the Falls, we called them and asked what their prices were, and they told us to come down, and that they would work out a deal. We all walked down there, and they still told us the same high price. When we asked for water, they said that we had to buy that as well for 2.50 per bottle (which was small). All the restaurants I have been to, have always provided a pitcher of water. That is just standard. They told us that because they are in a tourist area, they dont want any health issues or problems, and so they dont provide water. We come from the NYC area, and they are also a tourist area, and they all provide water as well. Which is what I told her, and she then provided the water for us. This day in age, there are so many products on the market for water filtration (even one you can attach to your own tap).
It is a small space, so if you have alot of people, it might be a little crowded for you. The location is great because it is close to the Falls, but if you are walking, it is still a bit of a walk. And the food was good. I do not have any complaints as to the taste or quality of their food. Could maybe have some more varieties. Posted on July 21, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ We went there half heartedly given the negative reviews and after tasting the food, it all became clear to me. Believe meI love food and we have eaten in a bunch of halal restaurants in US and Canada. You mom or wife cooks a thousand times better that this.....trust me. Expensive and Taste-less food to say the least. I understand the location is awesome but I hope the owners would do something about their recipes. Posted on July 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ Located in the Heart of Clifton Hills.we was people of ten ,we got shawarma plate shawarma sandwich ,rotisserie chicken, chiken tika plate and fruite smoothies .Everything was great and excellent. most important thing is meat is authentically zabhiha halal ,why i am sure because owner of resturant show us the invoice from Madina wholesale Poultry ,Toronto. Later, we called Madina Poutry and confirmed . They told us only two resturants are taking meat from us .Smoothie Planet is one of them. We should promot this place because this is convenient location from the falls.they have excellent food ,service .clean ,and friendly enviorment .they donot have big and huge menu but whatever they have is excellent quality . we stongly recommend ,if u are visiting Niagra Falls ,you should visit them . ★☆☆☆☆ First, the good: Great Location! Next, the bad: Limited Menu, Cold Food, Smelly Meat, No Seating...I could go on. I went there for iftar, and they had 4 things to offer on their menu. The owner suggested I try chicken tikka, as he was about to make it FRESH. Big mistake. The chicken though half-decent, had a very bad smell to it. As if the chicken hadn't been cooked properly. The rice tasted very odd, the side of pasta was ice cold, and the nan came out of a store-bought package. The veggie samosas, were the best tasting item they had, but even this had cold filling, and at over $1.50 per samosa, it's hardly worth it. Like all things in Niagara Falls, they survive because of the sheer number of people that come there, not because anything they do is exceptional. The meals cost $10 EACH, at that price you might as well go somewhere else. My family ended up leaving our food, and going to eat at another shop. Overall, I'd like to emphasize that at iftar almost anything will suffice to fill your stomache, but the fact that the food was so bad here that I had to go elsewhere to do iftar will give you an idea of what calibre the food was. I would NOT recommend anyone go to eat here. Posted on September 17, 2009 |

★★★★★ The food was really good. Although they do not have a lot on the menu but whatever they had was good. The owner was very nice and friendly. We tried the chicken tikka, kabab, palau , shawarma and qorma. I was also told by the owner that their smoothies are pretty good. We should definately promote this restaurant as the owner is also facing some resistence from the local businesses. Posted on July 6, 2009 |
