★★☆☆☆ agreed with all the reviews...nothing special about the food here though the atmosphere was great only if it had people..maybe that should have been our signal. Posted on May 13, 2010
★☆☆☆☆ We called at 9PM to Bethak Restaurant on Friday 16th Oct 2009. We simply asked the person very nicely if their food was Halal (Kosher) as its a Pakistani Indian Restaurant and advertising itself Halal, The person who answered the phone (Imran) started yelling and swearing that he is Halal and became so defensive.
This person has given some emotional trauma by yelling and screaming and using all kind of bad words that we cant use here filing this complaint. Simply asking a question about the product that restaurant (his business) is selling does not deserve that response.
He had courage to then kept calling our home number (form where call was made) and kept harassing us. This is an extreme situation and we are shocked, so disturbed and angry by it.
We need everyone to know that the restaurant has extremely horrible customer service and we need a written apology from the restaurant not only for his or her unneeded outburst but also for them calling us back on our phone number without our permission. Posted on October 16, 2009
★★☆☆☆ Attended an Eid party in their banquet hall. Food was mediocre at best. The organizers for the
Eid party had tasted the food at the restaurant and were impressed but the event catered at Bethak's own banquet hall left much to be desired.
The only thing that was close to good was the dessert ( Gajar ka halwaa ) other than that any random restaurant in the area has better food. I will probably give them one more chance before crossing this one out of my to go list. Posted on September 22, 2009
