★☆☆☆☆ They don't have halal meat. Staff always say it is. But no proof... Posted on February 18, 2017 |

★★☆☆☆ "I didn't go looking for halal food here but my experience bad too. Having come from India and subsisting on canned vegetarian food for a week in a hotel, I was desperate to eat some fresh Indian food. We ordered Vegetarian Thali. Imagine to my surprise when the samosa tasted of meat! I asked the waitress about it she apologised and took it back and came back with a aloo samosa. In the course of the meal she spilled water twice on the table. She had seated us on a table for two (even though all the tables were empty at 4 pm) the table was so small that we had to keep the Roti on the next table! She couldnt understand what water at normal temprature was and served chilled water. Jagjit Singh was wailing on a music system which might have been 2 decades old! I'll never go to that restaurant again." Posted on June 16, 2002 |

★☆☆☆☆ "I came to this restaurant and found half of the seating area was closed off. I was surprised because this was a Saturday evening (most places are busy). Bravely, we ordered our food - there was no difference between fried, boiled, or biryani rice. Then when I asked if the meat was halal, the waiter had to go ask the chef, who wasn't Indian but Mexican. He said yes. Then I asked the chief to read the kalimah - he didn't have a clue, nor did any of the staff. Anyway, this was after we had eaten, so we left and hopefully we will never return to this over-expensive horrid food place!" Posted on May 16, 2001 |
