★☆☆☆☆ Worst climate for Muslims and worst meat. There much better Turkish places around Baltimore. Posted on March 21, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ Forget about food - the restaurant serves liquors (Haram) - so how come it is Halal place? What image Muslim will be portraying? Zabiha should take serious notice of all such place and remove them from list. Muslim shouldn't go to such places! Posted on March 18, 2014 |
We have clearly labeled this and other restaurants that serve alcohol so that those who wish to avoid can do so. The next revision of this website will allow you to filter out alcohol-serving restaurants that also offer alcohol to their non-Muslim customers. |

★☆☆☆☆ I would have rated this place as a four star based on the quality of their food but I am giving it one star for good reason. I don't ever eat at halal places that serve haram drinks because if a muslim owner is willing to serve haram beverages its difficult to know halal integrity of food. There is revelation in Qur'an about this. I gave this place benefit of doubt because my dad got excited about it and food had great reputation. Our experience was great, food was everything mentioned in reputation up until the waiter got deceptive about the deserts. We ordered two deserts which takes 8 min stated and waiter confirmed this. After 15 min one desert came out and we asked where is other desert? We were told the other desert is still cooking. We waited 15-20 min more and the other desert finally came out so I was under impression they had a small oven and asked waiter about it. He told me he really actually forgot it but didn't tell me about it, that it only took few min with a little laugh. 15-20 min was not few minutes and then the second dessert was frozen ice in the middle. He offered to re-heat partly eaten dessert. I said no as I don't like to waste food (if you follow sunnah you know what I mean) He then offered us nothing else and not even an apology. Please be aware of this when eating here. If they are willing to cover up or deceive on a mistake then I would surely make an extensive effort to verify halal integrity of food if you must eat here and not base it on their word alone for this reason. I most certainly will not eat here again. Posted on September 17, 2013 |

★★★★☆ The food is very tasty and well made. The appetizer mix plate is a must in this place. It is on the pricey side but the food is worth it. The only thing that I did not like is the fact that they have a bar and serve alcohol. Posted on August 12, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Average food. I had it delivered, very small portions and price it too high. I won't recommend it until they change the portion size for the amount they charge. Posted on October 28, 2012 |

★★★★★ Their food is amazing, and the service is always excellent. This is more of a special occasion place for us, as it is a bit pricey, but the portions are huge. They have also been very accomodating with our son, who is a very active 3. My favorite dish is the Adana Iskkander. They also have a lunch version that comes on a bun, with rice and salad that I get often since I work close by. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Posted on November 23, 2010 |

★★★★★ I have been there once and I have eaten twice in the Johns Hopkins Festival. It is the most authentic Turkish food I have ever had in the States. A little bit pricey but it worths. I wish they did not serve alcohol. I recommend everyone who likes Turkish/Middle Eastern food. Parking might be problem. Posted on July 28, 2010 |
