★☆☆☆☆ We went there a few days ago and the name changed to Galata. We went in and asked the hostess if it was halal; she said yes so we sat and ate. As we looked around,we noticed the huge bar area which made us uncomfortable but we were already in the middle of our food. The food was good but something felt strange, after we left we began analyzing the menu. Halal was not written on any part of the menu and they have dishes with wine in it. They lied just to get us in the door!!! I'm very disappointed!!! Posted on April 27, 2016 |

NR I went there recently. There is a clear sign on door saying place is "Halal". Food was good. I had gotten the Chicken Kebab. Posted on September 19, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I work near by and used to order the chicken doner kabob from here which is great. I decided to order lamb one day and asked them if its halal and I was told its not and that only the chicken is halal, yet when I asked them previously I was told everything is halal. So tried to save myself from all the confusion and stopped eating from there since last year (not sure if things changed since then, will call and verify) Posted on October 4, 2013 |

★★★★★ I love this place, because the food is amazing here. We eat here every time when we in Manhattan. The cold mixed appetizers and salad with that fantastic bread YUM YUM YUM must try. One of my favorite is the Doner Kebab and yogurt sauce on top deliciousness! Doner Kebab run out after 9PM but make sure you order before 9PM, you'll be happily surprised. We had a full dinner experience in a cozy atmosphere. I will surely go back as it is a fantastic deal for the taste and price. Posted on September 2, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Excellent food - especially the lamb doner. However, it's a bit uncomfortable to sit in (especially the front) because it's so narrow and the tables are close together. Prices are high, as to be expected in this area, but the food is really top-notch. Posted on August 8, 2013 |

★★★★★ Good halal food, the restaurant is a bit narrow and the tables are together, but the food is delicious. If you want a regular American steak, this place is quite good. Posted on April 20, 2013 |
