★★★★☆ I am an old patron of this place when it was in Irving before they had to move to Hurst due to a project that cut through their shop. Ever since then I have always craved their chicken tandoori and beef/chicken biryani which used to be the cheapest yet one of the most well seasoned of what I have had in DFW. I have gone to their new location a few times after that and still had the same great experience in food. Their prices have gone up after the shift in location but I havent experienced a compromise in freshness or quality which can be a bit spicy and oily for those not used to it. I have seen the same Bengali brother who used to manage the old location. Also the place they are running from is attached to a gas station and is therefore very modest like their old location used to be. They have some tables setup in this section and a kitchen area where they take and deliver the orders. I usually prefer take-outs and call 45 minutes in advance to order as the tandoori takes time.
If they would move back to Irving I'd get their tandoori chicken & biryani regularly. I am rating them 4 stars for the distance and the lack of a nice restaurant type setting but their food is well worth going back to again. Posted on July 15, 2014
★★☆☆☆ the place is okay, very nice people; however I saw the halal certificate framed in the wall but yet still don't think the meat is halal because in the very same place they have all kinds of alcoholic drinks for sale.... Posted on February 24, 2012
