★★★★★ This is the best halal place to eat in RI and one of the top in New England area. This is a grocery shop plus restaurant, with enough seating for four families.
The food is great here, tried Nihari, Sheesh Kabob, Chicken masala, Kashmiri chai. Their Naan are freshly made in Tandoor. The place is run by a very well known Muslim in the city and meat is 100% halal. Posted on October 17, 2012 |

★★★★★ To our surprise, we found this nice place in down town Woonsocket, RI. The best thing about this place (other than the food) is that it was a big parking lot right next to it, so no worries of parking at all.
The food is most importantly hallal and then its pretty delicious as well, we tried samosa, samosa chat, nehari(aswesome), chicken Tika Masala and Chicken tikka boti along with Naan and Aloo naan with desi milk tea and some halwa. Everything was made to perfection. Naan/Alloo Naan were perfectly. they have a big tandoor inside the restaurent, which serves excellent Naans and other breads. The staff/owner were very courteous and friendly, they made sure that there was no lacking in service. I liked the prices as well. Over all we had a great dinner at this place. I do highly recomend this to everyone.
The next thing I am gonna try is the weekend Brunch, which servers, halwa Poori and paya (perfect sunday breakfast :) ).
Over all its a good addition to the local desi food joint. I am pleased with the service (even though they are decently new), unlike another restaurent in Norwood, MA whose service and attitude never improved.
About the atmosphere, its nice enough to feel comfortable, with some desi channels playing on the tv. I do have one reservation, but its ignorable. The place is great to end. Do give it a try. and INSHA ALLAH a new halal food grocery store is opening right next to it very soon.
