HALAL SUMMARY
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant.
★★★★★ Unique food and a great change of pace for zabihah eaters who are tired of Indo-Pak food. We had the satay which was excellent and the beef rendang which was spicy and tender. We also picked up a box of the peanut brittle which was a delicious late night snack - savory and peanutty with a slight hint of lime. You do not get as much food for your dollar as you do on Devon but you get a different menu full of excellent food in a very clean/comfortable ambience. Posted on February 5, 2011
★★★★★ Awesome! Never had Indonesian food until now! The owner was a nice muslim indonesian man, allowed us to pray maghrib there and the staff was very courteous. The chicken skewers were good, noodles really delicious, and they are part of that restaurant.com list. Cant wait to go back and try the rest of the stuff.
P.S. Great place to go with the wife or family Posted on September 16, 2010
★★★★☆ Overall, we really enjoyed the food here, especiallyt the satay and rendang beef. The only issue is that serving sizes are small for the price. Posted on December 19, 2009
★★★★★ This restaurant offers authentic Indonesian cuisine, and is 100% zabihah, making it unique in the Chicagoland area. If you're never had Indonesian food, you must try it. The satays are excellent!! We tried lamb and beef, and both were delicious. The restaurant is very clean with plenty of parking located nearby. Posted on July 5, 2009
