★★★★★ Salaam,Heard about this place for a while, whilst visiting the likes of Frangos and Nandos. I have to say this place is top trump. The food tasted great, fresh, and moreover the price and atmosphere was pleasant. very pleased. Posted on October 24, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ We've been to this place on 2 occasions now and really would not recommend it The first time we frequented Pandoos, we took the kids. We are all big Nandos fans and we had high expectations on our first visit. Unfortunately this place no where near hits the Nandos scale in every aspect. Hygiene was poor, cutlery looked dirty, we asked for our plates to be changed twice!! The food is to very poor taste. The chicken was flavourless and the table sauces taste cheap. We were all very disappointed. However hubby and I thought we would give Pandoos the benefit of the doubt (and visited again on a lunch date without the kids) after about a year, hopefully thinking that it could have been a bad first experience. Unfortunately nothing had changed. Everythings still the same. We will definitely not be coming back here again. Posted on January 11, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ good food small child like portions over priced good desserts a suggestion to the owners if they see this make the portions a bit larger and the price a beat more fair Posted on May 8, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ This place started off good, was a good alternative to Nando's, latley the service suffers as does quality of the food. It used to be a regular but now is off the family list. Posted on November 2, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ Cheap imitation of Nandos in terms of quality & service - not the price (This is still pretty high).
Service is pretty bad; everytime we have been there we have received bad service.
The staff seem to have an attitude, in pretty much the same way that every asian owned establishment has bad attitude towards asian customers.
The food is sub par - the rolls for the burgers a bit stale, and the chicken pretty dry.
Chips were like some kind of Tesco Value quality.
Hygiene is pretty bad too. Cutlery and Crockery look a bit dubious.
I no longer frequent this place; go to Nandos instead - it's only 2 minutes drive away from here. Posted on April 18, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ I think They missed out the letter "E" in pandoo's. The food is crap, The staff are worse, the cutlery probably washed in the rain water outside. Other then that, what else can I say.
Eat 4 times in there and (you guessed it) 4 times the dictator behind the counter dumped the food on the table, 1 time, did a takeaway chinese, BOY the chicken stank badly!
Sorry bro, you need to be told as no one else will tell you and we DONT want that now, do we? Go back to your old style restaurant. WORKED BETTER Posted on October 21, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ A reaal alternative to Nando's but question is why go to the alternative when the real thing is not far away? Shoddy service, unclean, Nando style prices. Guess I would go to the real thing instead. Posted on December 3, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I like Pandoos. My usual is the branch in Tooting but I had the chance to come to this East London branch the other day.
The store is pretty impressive - very big, lots of seating area including I believe some cubicles for families. Can't say I was very impressed with the storage of goods in the seating area, nor with the service. Maybe it was because we arrived near closing time (around an hour before) but very little smiling or acknowledgement of anything we were saying, and to top it all off they were clearly giving us hints to get out later on (still around 15 mins before closing).
Actual food was tops though - steak well prepared, tasty. Atmosphere was good since there was a large party in there.
Would have been full marks if not for the service. Posted on November 26, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ Very variable depending on the day. Went there on a weekday and the salad was rotten and the staff were in a rush to get us out. Posted on July 22, 2006 |

★★★★☆ Great service, good food: an affordable family/group meal out. Very clean, ambient and easy on the eye. Posted on January 7, 2006 |

★★★★★ Mashallah very good food. The service is good. YOu will get something hot on the table within 5 mins of ordering, freshly cooked. the portions are more than filling and the cutlery and dishes have always been spotless when I've been. I have actually had pandoo's twice in the last 4 days. I think that says it all about the food.5* Posted on December 23, 2005 |

★★★★★ I have been to Pandoo's on a number of occasions with my family. I think that the food is FANTASTIC, the service is RELIABLE, the hygiene is GOOD, and the cutlery and dishes are CLEAN!!!
As a matter of fact, I would eat there every week but I live too far!!
Pandoo's is a 100% gauranteed HALAL family restaurant!
A FIVE STAR RESTAURANT!!! Posted on December 21, 2005 |

★★☆☆☆ My wife and I decided to eat there one evening. What a mistake. The food was average, the portions were small and the cutlery/plates were filthy. Excuse me for having some sort of standard. Posted on December 7, 2005 |

★★★★★ The food at Pandoo's is the best that I have ever tasted. This is no nando's. It's way better and halal. Nando's cook haram beef on the same grill they cook halal chicken on. Everything at pandoo's is halal, including the enviornment. I eat pandoo's once a week. I prefer to eat at the restaurant with my family in the basement. My kids love the food here. The grill chicken is excellent and I would recommend the lamb steak roll. Good value for money. A definite for all muslims. Posted on June 24, 2005 |

★★★★☆ I haven't actually eaten in the restuarant as everytime we plan to go, the place is packed with young single brothers rather than families obviously not the owners fault but my husband and I don't feel comfortable eating in such an environment; this is on weekdays not sure how it is at weekends. However we do get takeaway the food is really lovely although some of the chinese style pastries etc are a little bit on the greasy side, the salads are sometimes a little bit soggy as well, could be because they pour the dressing in the box rather than having it seperate;my husband tells me the staff are very friendly and helpful. I am not keen on their 'nandos' style chicken at all its a bit on the dry side but the other items on the menu make up for it, only thing is not all items on the menu are available at all times so don't get your heart set on a particular dish you have to be a bit flexible.... ★★★★★ everyone says this is a copy of nando's but its not (all of nando's menu is not halal) its a halal enviornment, theres no music or alcohol and the food is the best i've tasted from a restaurant in east london. If they were a copy of nando's they are not now because of their new menu. food from the far east. the prawn dishes were yum and the chicken noodles were the best i've ever tasted (better than my home cooked noodles). if you loved the original menu you will love the new additional dishes. oh and if you loved the chicken crisps you will also love the new fish crisps. fantastic Posted on December 6, 2004 |

★★★★★ excellent food. tasty. better than nandos. no music and no alcohol. excellent for covering sisters. have prayed magrib prayers there with other sisters after the men had finished praying. the staff made sure no men came downstairs while we prayed. however another time it was impossible to pray there because so packed. not pandoo's fault. highly recommended for families wanting to eat 100% the halal way. if not been there before try it. ★★★☆☆ Pandos is ok, a bit on the pricy side though. I had a bad experience there once when i went there to eat, me and a friend realised that we had not done our Asr prayer (and Maghrib time was approaching) we asked the person at the till (very short very slim brother) if there was any place we could do our prayers - he said that because there were customers there was no space - on our floor there was only me and 4 friends, on the floor below there were about 5 people!!! anyway we tried to get to the Msajid but missed Asr prayer, as the Maghrib jamaat had already started. I haven't been back since and do not recommend it to anyone. Posted on October 7, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ although its a copycat of nandos [down to the toothpick flags on the chicken pieces and the mismatching chairs!!] pandos is a great place, with more flavoursome chicken than nandos, and fatter chips!will go again,no doubt. Posted on September 10, 2004 |
