★★★☆☆ Nice clean small business. Food looks good. Unfortunately, the seasoning is low making the food bland. Expensive too. Posted on February 26, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Not a very good experience. Mixed platter was bland, rice was overcooked and soggy. Chicken sandwich was alright and overall definately overpriced for the quantity of food offered. Reminded me of our bad experience at Sim Sim Cafe. To us it seemed like a sister restaurant of Sim Sim cafe. Hate to say, but would not go back.
IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Alhamdulillah I have been living here for more than 20 years and never needed to go to McDonalds to compare with. Have you eaten at McDonalds? And Alhamdulillah I dont think our brothers and sisters sell or 'pretend to sell' zabihah halal meat. I respect the fact that you use Crecent chicken that comes directly from Crecent, and is quite expensive, like many restaurants these days are using. I wish you all the success, good luck, and best wishes. Insha Allah hope to return after improvement. Posted on August 3, 2012 |
Salam -
Thank you so much for your comment. Your input is an important part of the information used to improve our services and make it better inshaAllah.
Just so you know, we are fairly new, we have been opened for only 10 days, and Hamdou’Allah, we have served so many people and most of them are Americans and few Muslims. We have not received not even one complaint except yours unfortunately..
Furthermore, if you are looking for cheap sandwiches that come with meat that is frozen for months and God knows what is made with, I would suggest that you go to McDonalds or to those places that pretend to sell Halal meat. Whereas our meat is purchased directly from a respectable company called Crescent. Their meat is 100% Halal & quite expensive but it is a quality meat and slaughtered properly.. And what we strive for - to serve our customers the best Halal & tasty food !
Hope that you can visit us again in the near future, we’ll try our best to make your experience better next time inshaAllah..
Regards,

★★★★★ We went to Taste of Morocco today and were very nicely welcomed. We were fasting as it is Ramadan and the owner let us pray in the back kitchen area which was very nice of them. The people who own this place were very nice and genuine. My husband had the Berber tagine and I had the char grilled chicken kabob platter! There food was delicious!!! The owner said his wife has a passion to cook and you could really tell with the food. The couscous was amazing I really enjoyed that along with the white sauce I got with my entree. We got complimentary dessert which included mint tea, bassbosa and another dessert which I don't know the name of, but it was good. Overall, we had a really nice experience, a place can make all the difference when the people are warm and welcoming! Really sweet people, really tasty food! If you haven't had Moroccan food before TRY this place! InshAllah we plan on going back. Posted on July 27, 2012 |

★★★★★ My wife saw this place while she was driving by. She stopped by & she was welcomed and they gave her samples to try out. She came home so excited for two reasons – one she likes the Moroccan food - Two, she couldn’t believe now there is one of her favorite foods that is 10mn drive from our home.
My wife convinced me to go back for a dinner, I have to admit that the place is warm & very inviting despite the fact it is a small place. The owners are so kind and most importantly, the food is so tasty beyond belief ! I had the best soup called Moroccan Harira with Pita Bread served with Olive oil, the bread melted in my mouth as if just came out of the oven. Then I had the Moroccan salad which has one of the best homemade dressing I ever had. And I concluded with a nice Combo feast which comes with Kafta Kabab and Chicken. My wife and I are so delighted about the whole experience at Taste of Morocco and we will certainly go back. Posted on July 11, 2012 |

★★★★★ Me and my family had a dinner at this place last Friday, and when my 7yr old daughter went crazy over the Couscous, I knew it was magic, otherwise, she could have asked me to go to McD instead. I am so glad we came to this place. I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had Tagine of Lemon entrée. Both dishes were so tasty and my wife who is a great cook too, knew right away after her first bite how fresh the food is. Not to mention how great the service it was. The chef Mrs. Hakima came out and welcomed us and offered us free mint tea and Bassbosa. She is very kind & friendly..
This restaurant is a low-budget restaurant, has only about 4 tables, but you know what they say, the quality that counts and not the quantity. The food prices are reasonable. The check could have been 3 times as much had we had the same food in Chicago city. I saved not only on the check but also on the gas since we didn’t have to drive to Chicago to eat similar food.
I really wish Mrs. Hakima and her family well . I’d like to see this place turning from a carryout restaurant to nice big dinning restaurant. My family and I will certainly go back ! Posted on July 9, 2012 |
