NR This is not a halal restaurant. Posted on April 21, 2019 |
We will check again with the restaurant. They have clearly labeled themselves as serving Halal food. |

★★★☆☆ Halal meat certification clearly posted on the window. Malaysian iced tea was mostly ice and no refills... other than that good food at reasonable price. And they do serve alcohol. Posted on August 14, 2018 |

★★★★★ Nice restaurant located in Chinatown. They have lots of options on their menu. Also give you a booklet with pictures of all the food items, which could be very helpful. We ordered a noodle and a fried rice dish. Both were great. Posted on July 16, 2017 |

★★★★★ visited here three times within a week. awesome food and great service. cool and comfortable ambience with pool table as well.
Loved the mango chicken and chicken fried rice. If you see a dish you like but not the meat, they can switch it for you. I liked a dish mentioned with chicken and asked if to be replaced with beef which they did easy.
Don't walk out without trying the coconut ice cream.
They serve food very quick too and the quantity is way more then how much you pay. Posted on September 4, 2016 |

★★★★☆ We went there last week. It is now purely halal as all the pork dishes were taken off the menu. Please note that we asked the non-Muslim Malaysians running the place as we did not see Muslim workers. In Malaysia if no pork is sold and the non-Muslim says halal we would accept it, but this is likely not the norm elsewhere. It could be at other times there are Muslims running it though. We quite liked the rendang (almost up to Malaysian standards you can get in Malaysia). The curry was not really our taste though, not as spicy as normal Malay food here. Overall we were quite satisfied with it. Posted on June 12, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Assalamualaikum! I just came back to Singapore from Las Vegas, Nevada. During our visit to Island Malaysia Cuisine at Springs Mountain Road, we realized that their menu are not fully Halal. Apart from the common Chinese food which was claimed to be halal by the operator, my family and I noticed that they were also serving pork (hinzir)in their menu. After sitting down and being served with plain ice water, we apologized to the staff and told them that we do not take food served / cooked in the same kitchen as that of non-halal. Fortunately, we managed to find a 100% halal pizza restaurant (Sorrento Pizza). That save us, Alhamdulillah! For the sake of all Muslims, please remove the Island Malaysian Cuisine from the halal list. Jazakallah! Posted on December 1, 2012 |
We have clearly labeled this establishment as having a partial halal menu so that visitors are clearly informed about the situation here |
