★★★★★ Don't let the name fool you, this is a NICE restaurant (not some fried chicken place). You could take your NonMuslim friends there (that's how clean and pretty the place is). New paint, fancy decor. Great buffet. I think we had been to their old location, this is completely different. Posted on October 12, 2014 |

★★★★★ Kings Chicken has relocated to 2209 Hwy 6 S, Houston TX 77077. They still do catering but reopened as a fine dining place, under new management. It is totally new experience. There old Beechnut location is now closed. Posted on September 25, 2014 |

★★★★☆ This place is only good for catering Biryani and Quorma! Don't even bother eating there.
As far as catering go, their Biryani and Quorma is actually excellent. Posted on March 7, 2014 |

★★★★☆ 2007 - I can go there for the Bombay biryani, not the fried chicken!
2012 update:
Chicken biryani is one of the best in houston.
chapli kabab pizza is not bad.
king's chicken catering never disappoints taste-wise. Posted on January 30, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ The place is dirty with greasy floors. It is definitely not a place where you want to take your family. They make nice tasty Korma but with poor quality meat. I had ordered Korma once and provided my own goat meat that was good. Recently, I catered food which was a disaster. They charged me full price but provided chicken leg quarters in both Korma and Biryani. This guy didn't even bring the right quantity of soft drinks, plates, glasses and forgot to bring serving spoons and napkins. I don't know how they are still in business. This was simply a fraud. ★★★☆☆ The place is mediocre if you sit there and eat. We went there during the daytime on a weekday and were the only ones there. The lady at the counter was a lil confused about our order even though we were the only ones there. Had the Chicken Tikka pizza and fried chicken. Pizza was average, but the fried chicken was better. The place wasn't that clean either.
We ordered the Biryani & Qorma to-go and that was in it's own league. The biryani and qorma were both fresh and tasted like the shadi food, so it was great.
So depending on what you order, you may have different experiences at the same place and at the same time. This place is more geared for catering and they live up to their standard. Posted on September 12, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ The place was ok. I had the byrani and the fried chicken. Both were just ok. It was cheap though. Posted on September 30, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Food is good as far as taste is concerned but not a place to go and sit down. Use it as a take out. I amazed by the food inspectors in Houston, most of the Desi places in this city would have been closed if they were anywhere else in the US. People are not kidding when they talk about disregard for rules and regulations by Texans. Posted on October 18, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ Way back when this place used to have the best charga ever! But I don't know what happened a few years ago because the food lost its quality... I don't know for what reason. Maybe the management changed or something but it's sad that their food isn't that good anymore. Posted on May 30, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Not the cleanest place to eat but the fried chicken is pretty good. Best when you take your food to-go. Posted on May 26, 2008 |

★★★★★ Fried chicken and desi menu overall is avg, not to great not to bad for the price. On the other hand there Chapli Kabob pizza is excellent, there pizza quality is very good and mathces that of Pizza Hut and Papa Johns. Pizza is excellent other items are avg Posted on April 27, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Staff is dishonest in their dealings. Make sure if you order something for catering, you confirm like 50 times. I have been shafted 5-6 times, now I am more careful. Food is average in the store and excellent when catered. Posted on October 17, 2007 |

★★★★☆ They've improved their interior. The paya are watery. Biryani is a bit to spicy. The rest of the food is good. Their to go is never ready on time. I've been ordering their for years. Posted on November 21, 2005 |
