★★★★★ Great idea for a restaurant. The meat is very good and they bring it out very promptly. The salad bar alone is very good too. Posted on September 29, 2017 |

★★★★★ i have been to quite a few zabihah restaurants around the US. it's very hard to find a place which serves most types of meat. It's even harder to find a place that serves most types of meats and make them taste good. This place does both! There was not a single bad thing on the menu. the fatoush salad, chicken shishtawook, lamb and beef kabib, tenderloin, filet mignon, and prime rib were EXCELLENT. so juicy that you don't need sauce to accompany the food. the cinnamon pineapple and tea for dessert just topped it off. They also get an A+ for service. The waiters were attentive, friendly, compliant, and brought everything on time. You cannot ask for better than that. IMO, this is a top 5 zabihah restaurant in the US based purely on quality of food. This is not a place you're gonna visit every week (it's a fixed price menu) but it's def worth coming once every couple of months. I hope more zabihah restaurants around the US follow this texas de brasil steakhouse model because it would definitely be a big hit like this place! Posted on November 17, 2014 |

★★★★★ First of all, for those who are not interested in meat, there are still plenty of options here. Their salad, hummus, tumbooli and roasted potatoes are all very good. Having said that, this place is made for meat lovers with big appetites.
The restaurant is styled on the Texas de Brazil model where you do not order food, you just sit down and they bring in a variety of dishes with regularity and let you choose what you want for a flat fee. I've been here twice, and they serve around 10 courses on average, with the first couple consisting of the appetisers as mentioned above. After that, they bring in skewers of freshly BBQ'ed meat for you to try, one after the other. There are usually at least 6 or 7 meat dishes, varying from grilled lamb, seekh kabob, chicken sheesh tawok, chicken quarters, and various kinds of steak (filet mignon, sirloin, and ribeye), among others. Each one is great, and you can ask them to bring back earlier dishes as well. The dessert consists of grilled pineapple sprinkled with cinnamon, which has an usually palatable flavor, which makes for a pleasant surprise after all of the meat. I guarantee that you will have a full stomach by the time you are done, even if you haven't eaten all day.
Furthermore, the staff are very attentive and are constantly making sure that your plate is not empty. This place is flat out awesome and hopefully will be a huge success in Memphis for many years to come. Posted on August 23, 2014 |
