★★★★★ I love and enjoy coming here for lunch and dinner. they do serve up some of the best home cooked style meals in this side of Orlando. there prices are very affordable and they make everything fresh after you place your order. It is a family style diner restuarant with counter style service. the food consists of many varieties like my all time favorites house fried rice with shrimp, boneless steak pieces and chicken breast, along with egg and veggies. that is off the chinese food menu. they also have american food menu and indian food menu. everything is halal and everything is made fresh in front of your eyes. the best value also. has NOTHING costs more than $9. but all portions are big and fulling. ★★★★★ amazing chinese menu! the value is unbelievable compared to other halal chinese. each order is enough for 2 people if you have a nominal appetite. every order comes with egg/veggie fried rice free of charge. or white rice if you want. the prices for everything is LESS THAN $8..the peppersteak is delicious so is the sweet n sour chicken breast dinner. they also on the side make hot and cold meat subs, hot dogs, gyros, and curries with roti. but the chinese is the best thing going and service with a smile. never fails me here. always leave happy and full for affordable price.family operated business. range from $6 to $8 or so. ★★★★☆ Using the Zabihah app on my phone I found this place. Upon entering I was met with a utilitarian greeting that while not the warmist was understandable as the only one person I saw was working, later another employee came from the back and I was greeted again. The menu is priced very well and contains many choices. The goat curry was full of bones and had little meat but the flavor was great. Their Gyro was good and the fries were great. I would return and try this place again. Posted on January 4, 2013 |

★★★★★ Sallam
This has got to be Orlando's little secret!!! The food MashAllah is fantastic, its clean and always freshly cooked.
I know the place does not have the best decor but the service and food makes up for this..as for the last comment it clearly states on the door and the menu that its halal and the lady behind the counter is a muslim who has also confirmed it is halal. I agree with the cleanliness but if you ask them they will clean the tables for you.
Try the steak and the chow mein and be careful how much you order as the portions are huge!!!
It is well recommended by ourselves as we visit every time we're in Orlando which is once a year. Posted on September 14, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Saw this place on the way home so we decided to give it a try. Its in a lower part of the area and wasn't distinguished enough from the street. The store itself was empty, and had one elder person working. He didn't really care to clean the tables or the store for that. The food had generous portions but wasn't very good. Also the person working there couldn't tell us if the meat was halal so I had my doubts when eating, we stuck with the beef hoping at least that was halal if the chicken wasn't. ★★★★★ they have the cheapest and best tasting chinese food in orlando....no one can make chinese like they do
the combo lo mein has chicken, beef and shrimp for $7.25 (enough for 2 people to share it)
they also make really good fried chicken and spicey wings worth the drive from I Drive!!
but they close about 7-8 pm so better call first Posted on April 30, 2012 |

★★★★★ without GPS, we probably would not have found this place as new yorkers, but we are glad we did..it was one of most affordable halal restuarants we encountered in orlando, and everyone in our group was happy with our orders. must try the chinese mixed fried rice, different kinds of veggies and meats, for a very low price, and the portions were big and worth every cent, actually a bargain for halal dining made to order. ★★★★★ I visited after attending near by jumma services, as 2 masajids are within 5mins of this eatery location. everything is halal, and prepared accordingly. they also have nice clean dining area with clean bathroom. the items offered for lunch is vast, and wide variety of foods. i could not decide between the chinese sweet and sour chicken served with fried rice or the halal made to order (as i was told) full breakfast as seen in american restuarants. i decided to do both orders and take leftovers home with me,the size of the meal was generous and delicious indeed.total costs was less than $20, as i bought 2 dinners, and 2 beverages. excellent place and friendly staff waiting and serving at counter. ★★★★★ very laid back casual place. inexpensive, unbelieveably cheap.all food is cooked to order..some menu items are no more than $1.50, and that's for cooked hot food.amazing! full american breakfast, you name it, they got it! i really like the batter of the fried chicken, the best i've ever tasted..so is the giant subs. top notch food, clean restuarant, halal CHINESE & halal AMERICAN under one roof..i come here hungry and leave happy for no more than spending $7 Posted on March 3, 2012 |

★★★★★ aoa" i have eaten at many halal restuarants in varied cities of america. as my career choice leads me to many work opportunities in our nation. and it is always a pleasure to find a solid halal restuarant. which not only offers quality food, but at an unbeatable price. indeed this is such a place. everything is always delicious, and the menu has expontenitally grown over the past few weeks with addition of new management and workers. i always recommend to muslim brothers and sisters this family owned business, where everything is under 1 roof. 1.fast food. 2.chinese 3.arabian.4.breakfast.5.desserts6.caribbean7.curry and roti.8.wings and etc. too much to recall or list. well worth the trip and very affordable and delicious. you must try and then you will realize how this place cannot be beat in taste and value. ★☆☆☆☆ Me and my wife decided to eat Chinese on our way back to airport.we looked up this restaurant read good reviews decided to go there.when we got there I ordered Mongolian beef, the lady said she never heard this dish.I endup ordering cheese burger and fries and my wife ordered chicken fried rice.when I got my order there is no cheese in my burger and beef patties were microwaved they put mustard on my burger.when I asked where is cheese? man from the back came out said I did not order cheese.I eat half of my burger and end up eating only fries.I was only my last few fries when I saw hair inside of my plate.this place is not good as described by other.if you are looking for good Chinese that is not a place to go.they should not advertise this place as Chinese food.they sell American,Mediterranean, few Chinese dishes.I would not recommend this place to eat. ★★★★☆ Good food but definitely to work on their look. Very poor design of seating and just the overall place looks run down. That doesn't matter too much when you are there to eat as long as they got the food taken care of customers will be happy! And yes very generous portions! Posted on January 29, 2012 |

★★★★★ My family and I have visited this restaurant a few times. At first, there were limited items offered, but we weren't concerned, as we usually order Eggrolls, Chicken Fried Rice with a Half Chicken, and Pepper Steak. It is really GOOD, and tastes like authentic Chinese Fried Rice. They now offer Fried Chicken and Gyros, which are also yummy. If you're in a hurry or have kids, I would recommend ordering the food by phone, so it's ready, when you get there (even if you plan on eating there). The decor is sparse, but we go for the food, not ambiance. We've also taken our food to go, and always gotten generous portions. Sometimes when you order out from a restaurant the portions are smaller. NOT here! As mentioned in the other reviews, it is a family run restaurant. The people are friendly and genuine. We will definitely go again! Posted on January 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ i completely DISAGREE with the 2 latest negative posts, some of the gripes are unwarrented and a true injustice to this establishment, i do not think one should review a halal restuarant based on type of door chime installed by the building supervisor, or if the steak meat was not cut to the persons liking, since that customer most likely NEVER made a special request, otherwise i'm sure they'd gladly honor it, also each and everytime i am leaving, they always ask how everything was, that would have been a perfect opportunity to mention how one's dinner did not meet expectations due to a door chime or the steak was too thick or thin since you are paying a whole $6,.. that's what utensils are for, i for one, have NEVER had a poor experience here, each and everytime i received a generous portion of piping hot food, sometimes the take out box is soo full, that box will break, if your not carefull..the prices are extremely reasonable, @ $7 average, and everything is made fresh on the spot, and is delicious!!!..however, if one does one to try authentic mongalian chinese food, i would recommend the toronto canada area and in china town, you will find many halal establishments, unfortunately during my 20 month stay in san francisco i only found chinese restuarants that served 'halal" has highly inferior, one of the halal chinese outlets in san franisco is using a base of soy sauce which has alcohol in it, and another chinese place in san franciso was passing off squid and octupus has halal options and finally one chinese place in san francisco served both halal meat and pork, they did have a separate wok or at least that is what i was told for the halal customers, but utensils were shared and the same freezer was used, unforunately many modern california san francisco liberals do not make themselves concerned with this unhalal pratices and it is indeed a shame, do NOT eat halal chinese in san fransico, i would recommend authentic mongolian chinese halal in canada, san fransico halal chinese is disgusting., best advice is to come to this restuarant, order anything, and it would be the best $5 to $7 you spend on food, yes i am a local, and yes i am one of the locals you seen that day, and yes, we like orlando chinese more than disgusting squid/alcohol soy sauce/pork in freezer san francisco chinese..5 stars for brother omar and his delicious food. ★★☆☆☆ This review matches the review by mjs123. In the SF Bay area we have a number of Chineese restaurants and this food is a far cry from authentic! We ordered a cheeseburger (they didnt have cheese so this became a hamburger) sweet n sour chicken, pepper steak as it was recommended from the review and LoMein with beef. The beef was in thick strip, chewy - below quality beef. The chicken was undercooked - the sweet-n-sour sauce masked the taste. The hamburger was undercooked. The fried rice that came with the dishes was cold/cool. The LoMein was oily but the strips were essentially the same as the pepper steak. We were very disappointed. It is unfortunate as it seems that these are sincere and devout muslims. My advice would be travel to SF Bay Area and visit a number of Chinese halal establishments and then tune the recipes and of course improve the quality of the ingredients. ★★☆☆☆ What can I say, I usually do not like to give negative reviews to Muslim establishments but I had less than a stellar experience at Crescent Halal foods.
First the positives, the people behind the counter are really nice and looks like that they have developed good relations with the community because I saw a lot of locals come in, sit down and eat. Maybe it is because of the proximity to the local mosque. They also sell soda cans for just 79 cents which is a nice way to pass the savings to the customers. Also my review is based on only one visit and they might be having a bad day. But there is nothing that I ordered that anyone in our group liked.... My pepper steak was way under cooked, the beef was too chewy and there was no way I could break the pieces of steak without using my teeth. Some of the "steak" pieces were not fit to be swallowed as they were just fat. The same theme continued as my wife's Orange chicken had chicken pieces which were under cooked as well. As far as taste goes Orange chicken was the best. Pepper steak was a distant second, my son's sweet and sour chicken was terrible and my daughter's beef fried rice were not fit for consumption at all. We also ordered 10 pcs. of wings which were also way below par. Even the wing sauce had too much oil in it. All the fried rice that the dishes came with were really bad, very greasy and low quality. I am not sure how so many people can like this food? Maybe it is because they are from out of town, tired after visiting the Orlando theme parks and so hungry that any food on the table tastes good. As I mentioned before, I usually do not give poor reviews to any Muslim establishment and you can check my other reviews but I just cannot find anything that I liked about this food and I really tried hard to like it. I have tried many Halal Chinese all over the US and this has to be really at the bottom of the list.
One more thing that I forgot to mention above is a very annoying door chime that they have at the front door. You will know what I am talking about once you go there. Posted on December 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ pepper steak is awesome..plus they have REAL fried rice ..prices are good between 5-7$ per entree with big portions..great addition to metrowest area
THE BEST buffalo wings in town!!!! Posted on December 17, 2011 |

★★★★★ not bad at all, larger than most typical seating area, t.v. is there, magazines are there, food is very good, the economical pricing will sure bring me in again, this is how resturants should do chinese, a full box for around $7 of halal meat and rice vs. $12 at other places for the same quality and size of meal, family runned and counter service is all one needs, recommend the fried chicken and beef fried rice, both are an excellent value. Posted on December 15, 2011 |

★★★★★ 2 visits.cheap prices.hot fresh food.very delicious.clean tables.big box of food.a little boring, no t.v., no radio, nobody talking..but tasty food, lots of more choices had been added since my first visit, when i returned second time..would recommend specialities, family can eat and leave happy for less than $25. Posted on December 8, 2011 |

★★★★☆ this restuarant is probably as close as you can get to home cooking,.but preparation can take some time..the restaurant itself is clean and simplistic..nothing fancy here, but a friendly casual atmosphere.the menu pricing is spot on, thank you for keeping it affordable and delicious, again it takes them long time to prepare some of the items, but it is always piping hot and fresh, and i would recommend in a heartbeat..family owned, family operated, nothing beats it for the price in orlando. Posted on November 7, 2011 |

★★★★★ the food is awesome!!!..genuine fried rice!!!..takes time to prepare, but it's worth it when it comes out piping hot and fresh!!..insane lunch deals $4.99 for a full box of food,..the only downside is that tables and chairs are scarce, and during the lunch crunch, it's either eat in your car or take it home,..plus their menu as stated is limited, but..if you ask, they list off a whole bunch of extra items and entrees, but theres like a sign that says special orders available, just request it or something along those lines.
