Sizzle N Spices is an Indian café servicing the Redmond area. We offer a casual atmosphere, an elegant setting and authentic fresh food. We want our guests to experience the richness and flavors of the many spices there are, therefore besides the many meat dishes, we offer a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options as well. All our curries and kababs are all natural, have no MSG, and we only use halal meat. Our food is a reflection of the authentic taste of North Indian food. Our street food dishes will give you a true experience of the popular dishes as you would find during your visit to the exotic land! Added on December 9, 2009 and last updated 7 years ago

★★★★☆ New owners and new name - the food is much better than before and still Halal! Going to have them cater an iftar this week. Posted on July 3, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ It used to be a great place to eat, But since the owner-ship changed the quality of food has been going down the hill. Not worth visiting again Posted on October 26, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Food is alright not like your mom cooks, its the service that stinks and if you order biryani you will have to eat with a plastic fork in a plastic plate/ nahri is more like a aalo ghost minus aaloo and it comes with DEEP NAAN (microwaved) and you will have to pay $1/naan and i thought that was unreasonable paying $15 with tip just for one nahari. No wonder this place is always empty. Posted on January 5, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ As soon as you enter you will see one of the typical signs of a halal Indian/Pakistani restaurant: A menu covered in tape to hide the old prices and sloppy handwritten new prices. So, what I assume in the past was a fairly good deal, is now slightly overpriced typical desi food.
The tawa chicken was good; the goat karahi...not so much. Each order comes with one piece of naan and we ordered 2 extra naans and it was still not enough. this is not because they give a lot of curry, rather because the naan is so small.
To top off three star food, we had three star service as well. The sister at the counter made it seem as if she was doing us a favor by taking our order. A little advice to all those working in the restaurant business: The customers are paying your paycheck, you are not doing them a favor, they are doing you a favor. You should smile at the customer even and act as if you are happy to help them. Posted on March 27, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Came here while visiting. The food was pretty average, nothing special. Ordered chicken kabob which came with white rice with a sprickle of what appeard to be some packaged chaat masala or something. Also orderd naan, which seemed to be from a frozen packet of tandoori naan. Posted on November 17, 2011 |

★★★★★ Very delicious food. I love the seekh kababs, Tawa chicken, karahi chicken, paratha rolls and PAYA. They don't always have PAYA but when they do, MAN thats out of this world. Call them to ask when they'll have Payas. Posted on November 10, 2011 |

★★★★☆ nice convenient grocery joined to a restaurant. I found their breakfast menu/buffet too greasy. otherwise, depending on the day I visited the food is either really good or ok. I guess they have different cooks on different days maybe.. Posted on August 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ We were visiting Seattle metro area on vacation and stayed in Redmond close to Shalimar cafe. After reading the reviews, we ordered take out for
Ck Karahi, Butter Ck, and Ck Biryani. Every dish was very delicious and in good quantity enough to satisfy 5 - 6 people with extra naans. Posted on July 14, 2011 |

★★★★★ Best Chicken Chargha and Seekh Kabab in town , also tried Halwa Puri breakfast and it was OK. I think they need to improve customer service to attract more customers. Posted on January 11, 2010 |
